I pointed out that president obama is seen as black (to everyone because his skin color is black) even though he is biracial just as halle's dd will be seen as black even though she is bi-racial. Where did i imply there was anything wrong with that? Its just the way it is.
Ftr, a child is part of their mother and part of their father, so technically while halle's dd and obama himself appear to be black, they are still part of a white parent. So i think when halle says her dd is not white, she is right as far as appearances go, but she is wrong because of the fact that one of her parents is in fact white. I think its sad that she couldn't just say
"i don't see her as black or white, she's an equal part of us", but i assume thats because there are things going on between her and her ex that i don't know about, or care about really. I'm not sure what you read into my statement
