Halfway Home!

Got interested in DVC a couple of weeks ago and luckily stumbled on this board. I learned a wealth of information about DVC, choosing a resort, resales, ROFR, points, etc. Originally I thought I should buy HH to get the most points for my money, but after reading through the board I realized “buy where you want to stay”. I started calling yesterday and absolutely lucked into a 200 BWV through a resaler, just got the word tonight our bid was accepted, only ROFR to go and we’re home.

We got engaged in front of Cinderella’s palace in 2002, honeymooned on a land/sea cruise in 2003, and our little souvenir just turned two months old. Now we can plan a lifetime of vacations for him and our families, easily the best financial decision I ever made. A thousand thanks to this board for the help and guidance! Hope to join you soon!

Actually, they closed our file at Timeshare Closing Services, and DVC has been notified of our "ownership". We are still waiting to "show up" in their system. We're taking baby steps...but, we're getting there...maybe tomorrow...you know me...I am calling EVERYDAY!!! Patience has long flown the coop!!!
