The new Irish pub, Raglan Road, scheduled to open is just a few days @ Downtown Disney currently has a half-price offer w/Clear Channel Radio Stations. Pay $25 (plus $3.50 shipping) for $50 worth of food (cannot be used towards alcohol). Here's a link: Click

Just click on one of the stations and you should be able to find the offer. If one station is sold-out, just keep trying others until you are successful. Right now there are still plenty available...but they will probably go quickly as more people are aware of it.

Okay, a little bit of confusion...some of the stations have offers saying it can be applied towards alcohol, others say no. I have sent an email asking for clarification. :flower:

Thanks for the heads up on this one.. :cool1: .I bought one - from Auction 101...it says that alcohol is included .... has anyone seen the menu from here yet? It'll be fun to try out regardless...hope it gets here soon, we leave on 10/20.
Thanks from Texas...Barb

shame it expires on 3/31/06. Next trip isn't planned until June 2006

I bought one from radio 104. I thought they would send an email certificate. I forgot to check to see how long it takes to send a gift card in the mail.
My trips are end of Nov and end of Dec.

Per the reply I received to my email -- alcohol is definitely included. :banana:

WooHoo! Thanks for the link....I just ordered one.
We will be going in Dec and I think that will be a great place to start out.

Can't wait to see what it looks like inside and out!

I just had a trip to the Gaylord Opry land in Nashville. My roommate and I spent every night at the Irish bar, so I'm really looking forward to trying this out.

I ordered a Guinness (I love dark beer) and the bartender (cute as he could be) said "Wow that's a manly drink." I laughed and told him that it balanced out the "girly" peaches and creme drink that I'd had earlier in the evening.

Thanks for the link.

:worship: You so rock!!! Thank you!!!! I can't wait to try this out. My honey went to Ireland earlier this year with her Mom, so this will be extra cool for her. I wish that I could have gone with her and now we will have a night out that will feel like we did get to go together. Maggie

I just purchased one for a Christmas present for my in laws. They will be going in Feb. Thanks!

I was so excited to see this post since we want to go to Raglan Road on our Spring Break trip in March. I was going through the purchase process, but stopped as soon as I saw that the screen where you enter your credit card information was NOT a secured site (no little lock icon in the bottom right hand corner). Did anyone else notice this?? There's no way I would put that information on an unsecured site. I e-mailed the seller and asked about phoning in the credit card information, but I haven't heard back yet. Just wanted to give my DIS friends a word of caution.

Not sure which link you clicked on, but the one for 540 am radio station DOES have a locked icon on it.

Try that one, instead...that is where I got mine from.

Off topic but where did you get the Kinkade Disneyland painting? Online? My Mother would love that for Christmas! Thanks! :goodvibes

It is currently only available through the Disney Gallery @ Disneyland. Here is a link with the info: Click

I think I tried at least 3 of the other stations and they all were unsecured sites. Thanks so much for the info about 540 AM. I just bought a certificate through them. We are all HUGE Off Kilter fans, so a visit to an Irish Pub will be a perfect stop during our WDW :earsboy: trip. Thanks again :sunny: !

I just signed on and purchased the very last card from 540 am... I went to all the other stations to buy another one but they are all sold out! I was hoping to get one more to give as a christmas gift... at least I got one. :cool1:

I just posted an angry thread about these Clearchannel certificates.

Some let you buy alchohol, some not.

These sound like a good buy, but consider this

Certificate = $25
Shipping = 3.50
Tax on your bill = 3.00 (between $2.50 and $3)
Tip = $10

Don't get me started when they ship 2-$25 and you can only use one a time.

You are over $40.......It initially sounds like a great deal, but it is usually a so-so deal.

If you buy less food, say $40, you are given back no change or credit. Make sure your bill as close to the $50 or just over.

I received my certificate today and it does not say anywhere on it that it can't be used for alcohol. There was a surcharge of 3.50 however.

But if you're planning on eating there anyway, you'll still be paying the tax & tip anyway. We're still talking approx $20 in free food.

Agreed, you pay tax and tip regarless.

I used mine on Saturday night and you can use it for alcohol. It's a great deal, I've bought many from ClearChannel stations. You get a $50 for 28.50, that's 21.50 in free money. It's a beautiful restaurant inside.
