Due to the Hurricanes, my family and I are going to have to give up our reservations at Ron Jons and stay at WDW. I am arriving Friday at 2:00 and was wondering if I am able to purchase a half day pass to Magic Kingdom, or do I have to purchase a full day ticket? I plan on getting tickets that night to MNSSHP.

I don't think that 1/2 day tickets are sold anywhere. You can get into MNSSHP at 4 pm. That will be like a 1/2 day.

I would just wait and go to MNSSHP. They let you in at 4pm and that will give you some time to get settled and relax after traveling.

Oh cool. I thought that you couldn't get in with the MNSSHP ticket until 7:00. If I can get in at 4:00 that's all I need!!! You guys are so great. Thank you.

Okay my mom talked to our TA from Dreams and she said that tickets for MNSSHP can only get in at 7:00 and not 4:00. Does anyone have any insider information on this?

The past 3 years they have allowed admission after 4:00pm due to the security checks. If everyone entered at 7:00pm the security line would be a mile long. The tickets say 7:00pm but they allow early admission starting 4:00pm. Several posters have confirmed this with CRO and cm's on this board.

Okay, thank you so much. I knew that someone could confirm this for me. I tried to do a search and I couldn't come up with anything.

Yes, last year we were let in at 4:00 for the MNSSHP. It's a blast... have fun!

We also arrived early, around 4:30, on Halloween last year. Since we stayed until nearly midnight, we thought it was almost as good as a full day at MK!

Because the lines are shorter than a "normal" day, and because of all the Halloween fun, its actually much better than a full day!

Boy, am I going to be depressed up here in MN on Halloween this year!
