So, we're in Orlando and our VRBO has been ... lacking. So we' e decided to spend a couple of day at WDW next week. I've booked two nights at the Poly. We're going to spend Wednesday at MK because it's got EMH until 2 -- we've got 2:30 CP reservations and we'll start there and go until we can't go no more.
Tuesday is the question. We don't check in until 3 and we don't want to go in with stuff, so we'll start our day about then. Epcot's got EMH until 11, DHS has until 9:30. I've got Soarin' FPs but no FEA. But as we think about Epcot, I'm a little less than excited because we've done a lot. There's a familiarity that's nice, but ...
I'm thinking go switching to DHS. We can get TSMM and ToT and then the rest of the DHS stuff except RnR, but half our crew won't like that anyway. I've seen Fantasmic twice and am done with it, but we've never done any of the DHS shows. And there's the new fireworks to consider (we've seen Illuminations a couple of times, and not everyone likes it).
Here's the question -- is the potential of going late at Epcot outweigh the stuff we've not done at DHS? We're not Epcot experts, so I'm sure there's a lot we've missed there, too. My daughter is arguing for Epcot because of Soarin and because she likes the carmel shop and the french bakery. Admittedly, they are awesome. The crew is five of us, my 12-year-old daughter and twin 9-year-old sons. This is our first WDW trip in about 20 months, and it might be a while before we're back. So I hoped some folks might weigh in as to whether the fireworks are worth it, whether the chows at DHS are worth the overall stuff of Epcot.
