Is there a half board option avaiable to pre book that allows you to dine in Innoventions or Auberge, I thought I have seen one thats a premium option for Half board thats pre bookable but does it allow auberge. My Daughter wants to go there for her 6th birthday this year.

Yes half board premium vouchers allow you to eat at inventions and Auberge. You have to buy the vouchers for everyone in your party and for the length of your stay.

only wanted 1 night premium.... we going for 3 nights 4 days will we have to buy 4 days worth of vouchers???
also if I buy the standard ones can I pay the difference in Auberge???
:cheer2:

No you must buy one voucher per person, per night of stay as Joth says.

Yes, you can buy standard (or plus) and pay the difference but it will be a fair amount still to pay...

Standard adult is worth 25 euros, think Auberge is about 60 euros per adult now (ish) :confused3.

Personally, I find the half board vouchers do not save you much these days (we had premium our second trip and didn't think they were worth it). Unless you are going to eat in Premium restaurants for all of your voucher meals, you are losing money really. We ate at Cafe Mickey (a plus restaurant) and so lost money there for sure.

I think what the vouchers offer is the ability to pay for meals in advance, so useful as a budget tool but I wouldn't expect to save much on them. They quote up to 10% but I wonder even on that on some options....

There is also the option to just pre pay for a meal with the princes or princesses if you just wanted the one meal. :goodvibes

Thanks for advice.
think I'll book the standard plus vouchers purley so our meals are paid for in advance. Fir her birthdya Ill pay the different the other 2 nights Ill go to Cow boy cookout and perhaps de stars restaurants are they any good.

Both cowboy cookout and restaurant des stars are only open at lunchtime so bear that in mind. We enjoyed our meal at des stars but didn't really like the cowboy cookout. Having said that other people had great meals at the cowboy cookout the same week we were there so we might have just had a bad day.

Just looked it's £54 ad/£23 child to prepay for Auberge. Not sure if this works out cheaper than paying on the day does it :confused3. Suppose it depends on the euro conversion rate your use - which seems to change daily right now :lmao:.

Sorry to hijack thread - do you just ring up dining line and prepay? Or is through the usual booking line?

To the OP, plus is probably a better option than just standard hb vouchers. At least that way you can eat some places where you won't have to pay more :).

There are some restaurant stickies at the top with reviews - some aren't that up to date though. Think some people love CBC - some don't. I guess it depends if you have a Woody & pals fan with you :goodvibes

restaurant des stars and cowboy cookout are both on the standard half board plan, so you'll lose money if you buy half board plus vouchers and eat at those 2 restaurants.

You phone the normal booking line and add half board to your existing package, if thats what you decide to do. you can do this any time up to about 3 days before you arrive.

good thinking we would want evening meals !!! anyone recommend any good restaurants to use the standard plus vouchers in xx

I think I've tried most of the buffet restaurants on the half board plus plan - my favourites are the Parkside diner at the HNY, then Cape Cod at the NBC, then the Beavers Creek at the Sequoia Lodge.

However, Cafe Mickey is on the half board plus plan, so I'd have to do that one evening if I was paying for half board plus vouchers :goodvibes.

Sorry, when saying about plus vouchers, I was meaning for Auberge and Cafe Mickey they would be better value, but as Elaine says, for the others you mention they wouldn't be.

Have heard good things about Parkside Diner & Cape Cod but never eaten at either, so can't help with those.... Wouldn't mind trying the latter though :)

thanks for all your advise your right because we want to do BBQ cookout my friends little one loves Jessie and Woody this would be a dinner time option might be better to pay seperatly

Park side dinner is great. I loved the food and the service was very very good. It's on my list for this trip - will definitely have dinner here one evening.

Great choices :thumbsup2. Think we will do similar with Annettes & Inventions added too as we are there 5 nights :)

Hope you get sorted with vouchers if you decide to get them!
