Syko, Wow! I hope you get it soon! It sounds cool.

I'm still getting speed back. I was exhausted after work today. I was evaluated/observed 4 times in 2 hours.

7 miles in an hour (8:40 ish pace) in the dark (I do wear reflective gear).

Best,
Jennifer

Maybe they couldn't believe what a good teacher you are! They must have been impressed......... :thumbsup2

We are forcasted to get 5 to 10 inches of snow tomorrow. I know that's not a big deal to some of you northern folk but it's a bunch for us. I haven't seen more than 3 inches here in 15 years.

I worked a 12 hr shift today after getting up early for a pool workout. I'm tired.

Be safe Dave and just walk! I have seen the way you drive :scared1:

20min ellip, 20 min treadmill. All good. It's really cold today so I woke up during the night to cover up and found I was hungry. Too lazy to get out of bed and eat. I guess I burned more calories than I ate.

Friday at last. Been very busy at work but it does make the day fly by. Hood your day flies too.

Our winter storm adventure has been delayed 12 hours, I guess it got held up in security at Dallas. They are still forcasting 6 to 10 inches for us, it's just moved back.

I'm taking a rest day and doing laundry. I've had a good exercise week anyway.

Have a wonderful day y'all.

Happy Friday everyone! What a chilly day! I went by the running store to pick up a balaclava for my LR tomorrow. I also grabbed a pair of longer wool socks. The high for tomorrow is only -9C (15F?). Sunday is suppose to be warmer but I usually like to get my LRs done with on Saturday.

Ran at the gym yesterday after my workout for about 2 miles and felt pretty good. It was a moderate pace for me 10:32 m/m. Foot felt great so I'm looking forward to getting out there tomorrow - even if it will be chilly!

Dave - Stay warm and safe!

Kirstie - I don't think I could go that fast unless I was in a car. Does it get hard to control once you're going that fast?

Hope - Beautiful quilts! I love the colours in the first one :)

Have a great day everyone! :wave2:

Heading home today yeah, just waiting at the airport, no work out today, maybe when I get home

Welcome new folks to this team.

Scott I did a new topic on staying warm while doing long races in the cold. Do you have any tips for us.

Yep , don't leave your good winter gear at home in Wyoming, LOL :lmao::lmao: who would a thunk.

Just a fly by for me as I'm mnet to be packing for miami.

VickyI'm ment to be incontrol????? Nobody told me!!!!!!!:lmao:

AS long as both dampeners are working then its not too bad, as long as you stay cranking. When I just sit and enjoy the ride is when I will have problems.

My new chair is not a lean stear so it will be a lot stiffer, but I have not taken it at any speed as I only had the tester in a parking lot.

I must go and pack, I'll see you all either sunday night or monday morning. :wave2:

Looks like a good day here weather wise currently 32 and they are talking mid 40's and the sun is out we will see

Scott it's just wrong that you have better weather than we do. It's 19 degrees here with a 6" layer of snow over ice.

Dave:hippie:

Well the temps have fallen and it's quite chilly in Toronto. When I left for my run this morning, the weather station said it was -18C (-0.4F). I bundled up but found it hard to breathe in the cold air. I used my balaclava but had a hard time taking in enough air - plus it kept fogging my sunglasses up. When I took them off, I ended up with ice on my eyelashes. Still ended up with a good pace over the 6K - 9:56 m/m :)

Kristie - Have a great race this weekend! Can't wait to hear about it when you get back.

Scott - Looks like you brought the California sunshine back with you!

Have a great day everyone! :wave2:

Still cold out here.

7.25 miles on the treadmill in 1hour. I planned to go farther (9 miles) but my brain couldn't handle more than an hour.

Best,
Jennifer

Yes we had a very nice day and I should have gotten out for a run. Ended up working the in barn rebuilding the base for teh Sapo Game and actually have it ready to finish,

Today was another good day. I went to the Harry Potter exhibit at the Boston Science Museum, and only had a few bladder pokes and sat for a little while. It was so much fun hanging out with Denise, Mark, Nick, and a friend and looking at the Harry Potter movie stuff. Then we also went to see my df's movie, Mystery Team. That was incredible to finally see the movie that he (and others) worked so hard on up on the big screen.
