Hakuna Matata: Official thread Part deux

Bunnyfoo: You should tie your laces together, it won't slow you down a bit, lol. Actually, try some Yankz, they are elastic laces that you fit for quick on and off of your shoes but I use them for my DS6 so he does not have to tie in a hurry!!!!!

:cheer2: Hello Hakuna Matata!

How is everyone this fine day?

Wilbur Do you have time for March 1 through the 7th?? We can put it down!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Got called to jury duty, today. Went in and there was a postponement. Why do they have to wait until we are all there, first???

I don't know what miles or hours I will get in today. But everyone stay strong and safe!

Your on jury duty? There are nothing but jackrabbits for a 50 miles around you. :)

Erica and I went to the Ortho Dr today and she will have her surgery, both feet on April 4th. She will have 3 to 4 weeks of recovery so I'll have to do extra miles for both of us till she is walking again.

Today we did 2.54 miles of mall walking in an hour. This was Erica's first since getting sick with the virus.

Tomorrow will be a good workout day for me and maybe for Erica also depending on how she feels.

Hi everyone. I ran 3.53 miles in 45 minutes today.

Hi Cobbler, they are not teaching you any bad habits over here are they. There are some mischevious ones on this team. Oh wait that's why I put you here to.

Scott, what is a Lifetime Dis Sponsor? Are you adopting a mouse?

That;s cool that you guys have good weather, I always thought of Wy as a barren snow covered wasteland in the winter.

Just wanted to appologize to my teammates for being MIA so much. Just in a funk right now. It's the first time in over 2 years I don't have an event I'm training for, I'm having a hard time carving out time for workouts, and I'm just tired of winter (we had two snow days last week). Trying to get some miles/minutes in for us though.

No adoption, just catching them in my trap line in the garage.

Yes most of WY appears to be a wasteland, with lots of minerals under the barren landscape, thus lots o money in the state coffers from mineral royalities, this is a good thing for us state employees. Retirement system is very very stable. :thumbsup2

Here in Cheyenne not much snow as it all blows away, so if we are getting good weather you folks to our east will get it in a couple of days. So enjoy your treat from wind swept WY. :rotfl:

Good morning everyone! I pushed myself and ran for 3 20 minute intervals. I'm slowly catching up to rest of the team! You guys and gals have such great weekly totals! It really helps to motivate me :)

I'll think about that when I'm training for a potato sack race :goodvibes Makes for good practice hop, hop hopping! I'll keep an eye out for the Yankz the next time I hit the sports store. Whatever happened to velcro shoes :rotfl:

Whatever happened to velcro shoes

Turns out the PC Police felt that is was wrong to stigmatize people who didn't know the first thing about shoe tying by making them wear velcro. Now they have to settle for slipons!!! :lmao:

Got me a 7 miles. Had to do the paperwork, first, but I am about to leave!!!

We DO have a county courthouse! And it gets lots of business!! I-40 runs through our quiet little county and there are all kinds of drug busts out there, thanks in part to our amazing K-9 unit. So, then we have to put the bad guys in prison.....thus jury duty!

Hi Team, I have a new member for us. Please welcome M-Kash, from IL. She is closer to our area, with the MI people just above her and Erica and I below and the wild west crowd to the east of her.

I had a wonderfull workout this morning with 4 miles of walking on the tready and a solid hour of cals and stretching. Capped off with a nice soak and additional stretch in the hot whirlpool. GOOD DAY!!!!

I was 176.4 this morning and feeling wonderfull. No achillies problem even with deep stretching and the walking. My cals and dynamic stretchs felt great to.

I can wait for nice weather when I can get outside again for some good racewalking.

I placed several new players and there will be some surprises next month on the standings. I have been doing this like a sports draft. I think it's about time for us to begin our rise to the top. We have some solid players and very good athletes.

Welcome M-Kash!!!!

Today is a rest day for me. I wore 3.5" heels today. Haven't worn them in a while and forgot that today is one of the days where I have to walk to different bldgs for class.

My feet didn't like me at the end of the day.

WELCOME MKash! :cheer2:

Panda: Great News on the NO pain in your achillies :thumbsup2

I loved the Trainer at the Gym tonight! I rode the bike for 4 miles warming up while waiting for him. I told him what I needed/wanted- He seemed to ask the right questions. He listed the machines I should be using, the repetitions, without building ‘Body Builder’ muscles. Then showed me how to use them correctly. :goodvibes

Margie that sounds great. Good to hear they were asking the right questions.
