ok so my hair trial is next week and I need inspiration photos all you future and former brides. I really need help. I am open to up-does but had my heart set on a half-up half down type thing. I have long straight hair so curls might be needed to get volume......any images would help or links to good websites...

ooohhhh, cryssi, so beautiful!!! Seeing that your hair is normally straight gives me hope!!! /did you have this done by someone while in Disney or was this somewhere else? Please give recommendations if you had this done at WDW!! Thanks for sharing your photos. Anyone else?

thanks! I actually originally wanted an updo...hmm, didn't go that route!

Well, I don't have any recommendations for WDW b/c I got married at DL, so I used an outside stylist. However, it was a relatively simple 'do, and I'm sure any stylist could do it. My stylist sprayed stuff in my hair, then curled and pinned it. When the curls were cool, she separated the curls, teased the front and pinned it, then the rest of the hair was pinned up underneath...I know that doesn't make any sense, but it felt like a ponytail but was not pulled up like one (no elastic)...

um...anyway, any stylist should be able to know how to do it! LOL

Luvndisney, I had a Disney hairstylist and makeup artist for my vow renewal. I will share with you the link to my on-line album where you can see my two bridesmaids (daughter & niece) and myself being prepared for our big night: click here.

Here is what my hair normally looks like:

Even though everyone's hair was stick-straight, Disney’s cosmetologists had no problem making each of us presentable (an easy thing to do for the young girls, a little harder for the old lady – me). Click here to see the finished products.

I didn’t have any hair or makeup trial runs done. And to be perfectly honest, I didn’t give any thought as to how I wanted to appear on the night of my vow renewal. I was of no help to the two Disney cosmetologists who were assigned to me. I said to them, “Do what you will.” One of the ladies took one look at me and my straight hair and said, “I think I’ll do it half-up and half-down.” I told her that sounded fine and she went to work. When she was done, she handed me a mirror. I looked into it and said, “I look just like me, only better.” My daughter & niece laughed. I was pleased. My hair (and makeup) looked lovely.

If you have an idea of what you want, make sure you bring a photo of it to your trial run. But if you’re more like me and have no idea what you want, relax and enjoy the ride. You’ll look beautiful on your special day simply with the glow of joy that will be emanating from your heart.
