Hi just thought I;d ask this question.

I have very fine hair and use a lot of hairstying products to make it look half decent.

I used to try and get non aerosol versions and put them in my hand luggage but know with the limit on liquid I have to pack everything in case -

Can you put aeorsols in your case?

I tend to pack and wrap all cans etc in plastic shopping carriers.

Oh can you remind me again - elecitral equipment hairdryer, straighters chargers ipod etc where do i pack them - thanks

I think I'm having one of those moments :rolleyes1

I tend to buy products over there to save the hassle. Just bear in mind that you might need extra product like hairspray as the water is softer.:thumbsup2

Any chargers we have are placed in our suitcases. DW took a hairdryer on our first trip but since it went so slowly when she plugged it in (something to do with the voltage I think) she has never bothered since - just made do with the ones provided in the villa.
We also buy most of our toiletries (shower gels, shampoo, sun care, toothpaste) when we get there and throw away any that we don't use to cut down on weight, space and hassle. The only thing I have to take is deodorant as, for some reason, the only mens ones I could find in Walmart were roll ons and not sprays.

Where possible, we just buy stuff when we get there. We do a trip to WalMart, either on our first night there, or first morning there, and buy all toiletries then. It makes packing this end much easy! Then, since we all share the same shampoo and stuff, by the end of the holiday, its normally used up and just goes in the bin, so we don't have to bring it home either! :goodvibes

We normally stay at a hotel the night before we fly, so we attempt to take toothpaste and stuff that is literally about to run out so we throw it away in the morning.

Publix sell many of the major brands, so most toileteries we try and buy out there, just saves having to pack extra stuff in the cases.

You could check out Garden Grocer website, where you will get a good idea of what the supermarkets stock.

I have dual voltage hair straighteners that I put in the case along with a 6 way extension lead with a US plug on the end (saves having to bring loads of adapters), all other electrical items such as cameras and chargers, sat nav and charger, ipods, laptop etc go in the hand luggage. For wash kit items I use the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the hotel (the H2o stuff at the deluxe resorts are really nice!) but I bring my own tooth paste, deodrant etc. If I were to use hair sprays I would still buy the non aerosol ones but just put them in your case.
