Hairdryers on the Dream????

Yes, but not very powerful. You may want to consider bringing your own if you're particular about you hair needs. Otherwise, the dryer works fine for a 3 or 4 day cruise.

Yes. We loved the ones on the Dream. So much so that when mine conked out at home, I ordered the same brand (Babyliss) to replace it.

PERFECT!!! Not particular about my hair and only doing a 3 day!

Curious what you found not powerful. The hairdryers onboard (at the desk) are just as powerful as my hairdryer at home. The Magic/Wonder also have those icky vacuum hose hairdryers in the bathroom and those are horrible but they also have a real full sized hairdryer in the desk drawer. This hairdryer has a round plug that MUST be plugged into the round outlet on the desk in order to work properly.

The Dream/Fantasy only have the "real" hairdryers with the round plug which need to be plugged into the round outlet.

Did they finally add the new dryers to the Wonder? That's great! When we sailed in November, they still had those ridiculous old blowers. It will be great not to have to bring a dryer anymore!

Actually, I am not sure about the Wonder if they have the new ones or not. I am sure someone will post if they do or don't!!

Edited to add that a thread from January of this year says no to the new hair dryers on the Wonder.

I think the Dream dryers were plenty powerful. But you have to plug them into the correct (marked for the dryer) socket. Otherwise it's not as powerful. :)

Let me explain. I have really thick curly hair and I purchased a 'Bio-ionic dryer. It cost around $300+. This dryer is amazing, not only does it get seriously hot and cool, with 6 settings, it can also blow my glass soap dispenser across my counter. When it's on full blast its like you're in a wind tunnel. That's what I mean by power.
I know that's a lot for a dryer, but it would take a very long time for my hair to dry without tge use of this dryer. For vacation I got without and pull it back wet, no worries, but not for work.
