Haircuts on Main Street....

Do they do anything special with longer hair? My DD 5 needs a trim but refuses to cut her hair that you would notice and it is almost to her bottom. I know she would love something special.

Yes they do! You can go there and just get her hair "done" - in a french braid or something fancy, and then they "paint" it and give you mickey dust and everything. I have no idea how much it cost, but I don't believe that you actually have to get it cut, they will just style it.

we *loved* our main street barbershop experience... ds got a regular haircut w/some pixie dust (he did not want the blue mickey on the back of his head) and lots of stickers from michael... dd got a trim and a "princess braid" by the woman, also w/pixie dust and stickers... from what i've heard the wait is typically not too bad, but when we were there a family of eight children came in just before us, so we had to wait while they had their cuts done (and it was near the end of the day, so if we left we risked not getting back in)... also, while we were there a cm came in to get his hair cut, along w/a brand new cm who was not familiar w/michael... what a blast to see this young guy unknowingly get a painted mickey and LOTS of pixie dust! it was great fun!

(oh, and what we did to help make the wait more tolerable is i took the kids one by one to the hat store across main street and pick out their personalized hat while dh and the other child waited in the shop)
