If you're hair is parted on the side, does your hairstylist cut it that way? Or does she part it in the middle and cut it "even" on both sides? (That's what mine does.)

Even though I usually wind up with a side part, I get it cut down the middle to make it even. I do know some who have definite parts (that don't move at all) will get it cut witht the part. The bad thing is if the part moved the haircut looks wrong since part is either way too long or way too short.

I used to cut it on the part, but I got tired of trying to get the part exactly rught all the time, so now it is cut on a center part evenly. Works better for me.

I have had stylists ask me where I part my hair and they will cut it there if you want them to. Mine has a natural part down the middle so that is what I go with. :)

I asked this very thing the last time I had mine cut...stylist said either way, personal prefference, but then she let it fall to it's natural part and cut it according to that (after she asked if that's how I wanted it) first time I've had it cut that way and it's so much easier to style!

Hmmm....I like a side part but my hair falls perfectly down the middle.(It never did that when I was kid, I remember sitting forever while my mom got the part straight.)

So if I'm understanding all of you right, even if I get it cut on the part, it will still fall down the middle?!

my hair will fall naturally into a middle part
hair is always cut evenly from middle part
but I part hair on side

Well, I used to part to the side when wet, blow it dry and, during the course of the day, it would end up back to the middle. So I gave up and accepted my middle part. :p :p ;)

My stylist always asks me which side I part my hair on before she cuts it. I always part my hair on one side - but I rarely use a straight part.
