So out of the blue my 10 year old starts wearing Big bows again. At this point I am thinking of making some for her for our trip. I know how to do the bow- thanks to online instructions. I have an idea for a bead center- which would leave me with some leftover wire to tie it to a french barrette-
But the ? Is how do YOU affix the bow to a barrett. I am afraid the tie meathod won't be strong enough. And I don't imagine that I can glue to the metal french barrette?

I have seen where you glue some ribbon to the barrett first - then glue the bow on?? Is this right?
