Hair ???

Hey Guys

Just wondering where to get my hair done for my wedding!!! I am really worried about it I have really long hair and i want barrel curls for the wedding I dont want my hair up!! where are you all getting your hair done or where have you gotten your hair done!! I was also thinking of having my sis in law do it because she is a hair dresser but would we be able to maybe rent one of those dryers for my hair?? It would be alot for her to take all of her stuff on the plane!! PLEASE HELP!!! <----- Dont want to look like this for my wedding!!Thanks in advance!!

I am using Lisa from Lisa's Magical wedding. You will be able to find the website on an old posting on here. She does all types of hair and comes to the place you are getting ready. She is a really nice lady to talk to. I am going for my planning session in October and she is going to do a trial run while I am there.

I had Lisa too, she was fabulous. I have long hair and had it up in barrel curls. She did a lovely job. All my bridesmaids had their hair the same, except one of my younger ones, who has very long hair. She had it part up and the rest gently curled. She came to my room to do us all.

You can also have your hair done at the Grand Floridian or at Periwigs at the Beach Club resort.

My MOH & I had ours done by Disney Cosmetology, in our own hotel room.

I have also been wondering about hair and makeup. I'd like to use Disney so that it would count towards the minimum, but I'm having a 9 AM wedding. So my question is would Disney be available early in the morning? Or are my only options outside vendors?

Unfortunately, I believe Disney no longer has it's own cosmetologists for weddings anymore, at least that is what my last information was. So, you will have to either hire an outside vendor to come to your room or you may be able to use a salon on Disney property. Of course, you could also go offsite to another salon , if you wish!

hfehr1s is correct. Disney no longer provides cosmotology services. Although, it is my understanding that Lisa from Lisas magical weddings once worked for Disney when they had cosmotology services for weddings.

I used Lisa (Lisa's Magical Weddings) for our wedding last week and she is fabulous! She did used to work for Disney cosmetology and she still does work for Disney here and there. She does a lot of the celebs when they are in for Disney events (Regis & Kelly, Christy Brinkley and many Miss America's) to name a few. That made me feel even more like a princess, that she was doing MY hair and makeup. I can't say enough about her! Wonderful lady and beautiful work!!

i also have long thick curly hair which i wore mostly down with the exception of a few strands up for my veil. i used anna wacaser with makeover majic for my hair & makeup and my ladies. it was so convinient she came to my room the morning of & got us all ready, she did a great job.
