After watching a hair wrapper, and being pretty crafty, I decided to try it on my daughter myself, I did and it worked, I did 5 hair wraps for her from 5" to 18" all with beads and here is how: go to Walmarts, but the colors of embrodiery floss you like (at .24 cents each, one of each color will be more than enough), and the beads that you like ( a bag of beads, larger ones cost anywhere from 1.69 to 2.99 each , depending on the beads, we used one bag at 1.99 and had beads left over), and bobby pins. Select a small section of hair, thick enough in diameter, about the thickness of 3/4 the width of a crayon, cut 8 or 9 strands of floss about 6 feet in length, colors that you have chosen, fold them in half, knot the middle around the end of the bobby pin, secure this to the base of the hair and tye 2 macrome type knots with each of 2 of the colors to anchor the strands of floss to the hair section. Then the fun begins

Wind each color around the whole thing, hair in the middle, floss around it, it looks like you are wrapping the floss around a tuble of air and floss. After the desired length of color, pull on the wrapping threaad to tighten he wrapped part and tye another 2 macrome knots with the color you have juust used. Continue to the desired length, it can even be longer than your childs hair as when you run out of hair, the middle filler is created by the extra floss you have knotted on in the beginning. At the end, thread on the desired beads in desired combinations, knot them, and cut the ends leaving 1" for decoration.
As I said, I did 5 for my daughter, they looked just like the disney ones, and I saved over $100, and they are still in 2 weeks later. If you can't do this yoursef, come and visit me in upstate New York , and for a few disney dollars I'll be glad to do it for you at 1/20 the cost !!
