Can you recommend a hair shine serum?

You don't need to talk about Moroccanoil in this thread. I already know about it (have some and like it too).

I use Tresseme....sorry if the spelling is wrong, but I think you will know what I am referring too. It feels and smells just like a more expensive salon brand I was using called aquage. I like it.

I love the John Freida Frizz-Ease Hair Serum Original forumla. I makes my hair very soft and shiny, and i have pretty dry hair!

Citre Shine spray mist. Lightweight, cheap. I love it. I don't care much for serums because I find them too heavy.

I use biosilk silk therapy. It's not that expensive and it helps shine up the hair and lay down the frizzies too.

I use a spray - Fructis Shine Brilliantine. Serums never worked well for me. I've actually had people comment on how shiny and healthy my hair looks.

I love Paul Mitchell Super Skinny. It works wonders on my hair.

A very cheap alternative is called Zero Frizz. It's in a purplish box at Walmart for around $4.

I use Paul Mitchell's "The Shine". When I got married, my hairstylist sprayed it after my hair was done - WOW! If you get some of this, don't spray it directly on your hair unless you hair isn't going to move. It can make it a tad greasy, at least on my hair it did for everyday use. It works better if you spray it on your hands and then run your hands through your hair.

I love that stuff!!

Online information for this is indicating that it has strong hold. Does it or does it just provide shine?

I use Fructise, and I have used Paul Mitchum. Both work great, in fact I haven't used one yet that didn't work..I usually get them on sale. It is so weird how greasy they feel on my hands, how you can't wash it off your hands, but it makes my hair so smooth and shiny!

I straighten my hair, so I don't know if the Fructise has holding power.:confused3

I like the cream based ones. the best.

Farouk BioSilk is nice in the winter -but I feel it weighs down too much in the summer.

I like TiGi Bed Head's "After Party".
