I went to the salon today to dye my hair, and asked to go blonde on the advice of my future sister in law (I was teetering between blonde and red, she thought blonde would look good). The blonde I was looking at was similar to one that I have had before and looked good. Unfortunately, that's not how it turned out. I was going for a darker, more golden blonde, and instead ended up pretty close to platinum. Now, hair is just hair to me. I like my hair and play with it, but I always say that if something doesn't turn out right, it's easy to fix.
Normally I would just deal with it until it was time to color it again (a month or two). The problem is that I will have engagement photos taken in the next couple of weeks and I don't think it looks that good. I will talk to the salon to see what they can do, but I was wondering if anybody who has been in a similar boat can give me some tips. I'm not interested in frying my hair and I'm afraid it may have been overprocessed already tonight. Thanks for the help!
As you can see, not the best look for me!

so the contrast was not as sharp. Thats a easy fix though. Perhaps that would be better than trying to change the color again. I think you look like an actual blonde and not too many can actually do that.
Just know it doesn't look bad. We are our worst critic!
I hound them for hair advice as frequently as possible.
