Not sure how long the drive is for you. Rocking Horse Ranch (NY) is awesome. I called it a cruise on land. So many activities and it's AI. Good luck.

We used to live in va beach so no to that and busch gardens is too many big rides. Colonial Williamsburg is ....too heavy with conversations about our complicated past and it's implications on the present. (That could be a weekend day trip of uncomfortable but necessary conversation lol) And pigeon forge area did not appeal to my husband plus I didn't find it as exciting as the other options

The only one he flat out vetoed was rocking horse ranch tho because "it's going towards the cold" valid point

Btw we are thinking of going to a new wolf lodge lol. We live near the Williamsburg one and have been to that one a few times but we are thinking of trying the NC one since it's only a small detour on our way home from HHI
