Had the yard sale today...

and made $380! I'm pretty happy - there wasn't anything big dollar and we were only open from 7:30 - 12 or so. Clothes hardly went at all, I was surprised. Lots of little $1-2 items.

All in all a great day & boost to the Disney spending $$$.

We had a yard sale yesterday and today from 7 - 12. It was alot of work. DH had originally said lets just donate everything for a tax write off. WELL.... we ended up making a little over $500.00!!!!!! DH admitted he though it was worth it.

Thanks to everyone on here for all their money saving ideas!! We've also been saving change and so far have almost $350.00 in change!! It really does add up!!

We had ours yesterday as well, from 8-12...

Did $270.00 only 1 big ticket item- 1 of our 3 powerwheels. A Barbie jeep...

No clothes sold here either. well, maybe 2 shirts or so. I was suprised, I had 3 complete Columbia Ski sets, jacket and pants and none of them went. I wudn't have come down on the price either , so it's okay. I'll ebay em

TONS of 4-$10 stuff...kids scooters, picnic table, wagon, etc.. all little tykes etc...

not much haggling which was good! had 2 kids rocking chairs from little tykes- the plastic- almost brand new- had $5.00 on em, 1 lady asked "will ya take $2.00" and i said- nope, tag says $5.00 thats what I'll take, sure enough she paid it!

Got rid of all of DD's books they outgrew, a laundry basket full, for $30.00 to a preschool teacher!

Got rid of all the big stuff cept the 2 other power wheels...what was 2 truck loads, and 1 Envoy load, turned into 1 truck load! YEAH!
