Had the best server tonight!

Inspired by the bad server thread: tonight we dined at Red Lobster with our younger DD9. Older DD was at a sleepover so we decided to treat younger one to crab legs. Once we were seated the manager took our drink orders, evidently there was drama going on with our assigned server, someone had picked up her pad with a bunch of cash in it and it was gone. Well, eventually the nicest server came along, explained what was goin on, said she'd take care of us till things settled down. We ordered and she brought out the salads and bread. The food came out and DD's crab legs were missing the crab crackers. When "beth" came by I mentioned it, she says, oh you don't need those for the snow crabs and procedes to crack and pick all of DD's crab legs for her ! I'm sitting there going "you don't have to do that for her" and she's like, hey, it's no problem! Needless to say, she received a 25% tip!

Up until last May I worked as a Customer Service Manager in CA. for 11 years. Patience, tolerance, courtesy and going above and beyond the call of duty are traits that are needed if you are going to work in the service industry. My raises and performance reviews never made me feel as good as the occasional letter received from a client or customer. Kudos to the waitress that waited on your table. I alwlays thoroughly enjoy a dining experience like that.
