Only it isn't our last at all :goodvibes

Next summer we are going on an "extended family" trip to the sun ... so no Disney for DD and me in Summer 09 - our annual passes expired this August and I haven't renewed them incase we were tempted to blow off the family thing.

BUT ... I just couldn't resist booking a surprise trip for DD's b/day-Xmas pressie - just like last year. It really will be a surprise again because we will be going the day before her b/day! Let's hope it isn't the same reaction as previously when I woke her up on the morning of her b/day ~ I told her to close her eyes and put out her hands (I put her passport in one hand and her annual pass in the other) and she burst out sobbing when she saw them, awww bless.

Last December was our first/only time staying onsite and it couldn't have been better. Yes, it was extremely cold but I was prepared.

Besides, the biting cold air with the crisp blue skies, the frozen lake and frosty river walk all added to the magic and made it feel that much more like Christmas.

Oooooh I can't wait! :santa:

:cloud9: Fantastic - even though my DD loves DLRP, I think I get even more excited than her about going :rotfl:

Sounds great!! Where you gonna be staying??

Elaine - that's just me all over, lol

Bob - we will be staying again @ Santa Fe.
I did consider the Cheyenne as it was only £30 more and the outside theme looks lovely but decided against it this time because DD loved having a big double bed to herself.
We were really lucky with our room last year, it was a corner room with 2 big windows overlooking the river, across to The Cheyenne. The river was completely frozen over and the little bridge below was always covered in frost/ice. We could also see HNY and the balloon. It was a great walk as we were in a block just behind the SL - which I'm planning to call into as I've heard it is fantastic in the evening to sit by the log fire and drink hot chocolate.

Ema and Karen ~ thanx!

Maybe one day we'll get to try out all the hotels *wishful thinking* :cloud9:
