Had my choice of Standard or Preferred

Since DH watches ESPN 24/7, the ads for the ESPN Weekend for 2/25 - 2/27 caught his eye. We're arriving on 2/24 and will spend that night at an OKW studio before moving to a 1 bedroom at BWV the following day (we're leaving on Tuesday). I just made the reservation this morning.

Much to my surprise, I was asked if I wanted standard or preferred. I was able to save 30 points by picking standard.

So..since I've only stayed in BWV once before, please tell me that the standard rooms won't have me looking at the freaky clown again.

standard views either face the front driveway or the end near the Swan/Dolphin. No scary clowns!

No way to see the clown from a standard view room - unless you get upgraded!

Actually, that FREAKY CLOWN is a preferred view! Preferred by who, I do not know!

I think if I had the points I might be tempted to go for the preferred view of the BW - since that is also now guaranteed.

Spiceycat, I had my choice of standard or preferred, and if standard means that the clown isn't going to climb up on my balcony and kill me while I sleep, I'm very happy with standard.

Thanks everyone. I wasn't sure what the location meant. It looks like I won't have to sleep with one eye open.
