Had anyone done both WDW and DL in the same day?

So my BFF and I celebrated a girls weekend at WDW when we turned 40 and have come up with a crazy idea for our 50th in four years. We want to go to both WDW and DL in the same day.

She said we could do the mountain challenge and ride the big 3 at both places. She thinks it’s doable because of the time change and obviously if we start first thing at WDW and end late at DL.

We want to do another girls weekend at WDW and then on the last day head to DL and have our families meet us there and we can then vacation together.

Just curious if anyone else out there has attempted something similar or are we just crazy? 😂

as someone who (used to pre-covid) fly to LA all the time, you are crazy. :) But yes, I definitely think it could be done depending on DL hours! I do think there are a *lot* of things that could throw a wrench in it that day as you'd basically need a perfect travel day to pull it off....and that might set you and your families up for a lot of disappointment.

I just checked and there’s non stops from mco to LAX, pretty good prices too! As long as you can get in early to MK and also have a midnight close at DL it’s doable! I say go for it, why not!

Sorry, I am too lazy to do the search but yes, there have been a number of people that have done WDW and then DL in the same day. Many hit all four WDW parks and then the two DL parks.

Wow all the parks. That’s super ambitious. That didn’t even cross our minds, I wouldn’t think that would be possible! But I guess so! Lol

I've read about people doing that in the past.
Not sure if its really possible today given fewer current flights.
Not something that I would be interested in.
But, if you get excited about doing that, best of luck making it happen.

I also remember (sort of) some people who did that, so I guess it can be done. However, this might be something that's actually more fun to say you did than the actual execution of the trip. One slip-up with the flight and your whole plan could collapse.
