Family of 5 went to Blue Bayou last week.
Havent been in a few years, and thier menu had changed.
Asked waitress three questions: 1) on the kids meal, are the carrot and celery sticks mixed as dd can have carrots but not celery. Seemed like a simple Questions, but waitress purposfully wouldnt anwer. She said let me get this straight, you dont want carrots and celery with your carrots and celery? She was being a real winner.... since I couldnt get an answer and my dd is allergic to celery I asked if they could substitute anything else. She said they had nothing else they could give her. Ok at this point I start getting a little hot under the collar. I say bring her no celry and carrots and dropped it. 2) Next I have a question about a sauce that comes on a steak, and asked to get it on the side. She said the chef would have a problem. Grrrr..... 3) then I asked if I could mix the kids lighted cup things to get a tink cup but a buzz light. She rolled her eyes and overly sweetly (can you picture it?) said but of course I can do that. Our entire table was uncomfortable with her.
I dont see where those three questions are out of line for a group of five people. Do you? We paid $150 for that meal and I think a waitress should be able to answer a few questions without being a witch. (She also told my 7 year old son to watch out when he stood up (yes he stood up a million times) to wave at the people on PotC who were calling out and waving. We were by the water and he was buggng nobody.. but her I guess.
Also, a heavy set man came it and sat next to us, bumping into table, and a waiter and a glass of liquid dropped and broke. She rolled her eyes and shook her head at the heavy man. RUDE! It was an accident.
Geeze, I thught Disneyland was supposed to be fun.
She got a big fat ZERO tip which we have NEVER done before. I told the manager about her attitude. I really feel like writing a letter.
