Had a Magical Vacation at HH - 6/5-6/12

Just back from a wonderfully relaxing vacation (again) at Hilton Head. Highlights: Of course, the great cast members - Blu, Christopher, Gregg and a great bunch of newcomers to the staff. The Tuesday evening pool party was a blast and the fireworks couldn't be better - or closer. Enjoyed watching Venus transversing the sun at 6 a.m., kayaking, Shadow, Unbday, and all the rest of the great activities. Kept the pool table busy in Big Murgy's Den. Enjoyed meals at Kurama (wonderful early bird menu), Sea Shack, Fuddruckers, Cracker Barrel (breakfast). Didn't get to but were recommended: early bird at La Normandie, Sticky Fingers, Big Bamboo and lunch at Red Fish - next year!. Any questions, let me know. The only bummer was that Gordon was on vacation and there were no member only evening get togethers like we enjoyed so much last year.

Glad you had a pleasant trip there-although, to me, it would be hard not to! Kurama, I've never heard of it. What/where is it? And could you tell me, please what your room # was, what your view was like? See any dolphins?

Oh and how I remember the member get together last year!!! It was a blast. I sure wish we could have been there this year but I guess we will have to settle for the Magic and Wilderness Lodge!

Glad you finally got to the Sea Shack! What did you think? It's been one of HH's best-kept secrets, but I'm sure that's about to change when it's on $40 a Day on Food TV!!!

Kurama is on Palmetto Bay Rd. not far after the circle on the left hand side if you are coming from the circle.

Saw dolphins off the beach.

Had room 1138 - top floor marsh view - very nice.

Sea Shack was packed when we were there - wonderful seafood and great prices.

Can't wait to make our reservations for next year.
