We just had one day there on June 16th. We got there and went straight to feed the dolphins. SO worth the $7! It was short, but such a neat experience.

We did the ADD plan and I'm so glad we did. It was HOT, so we stopped to get waters plenty of times. It wasn't overly crowded, so we never had trouble with lines or anything. And we really enjoyed being able to get fresh fruit, etc for snacks.

We only missed a few attractions. There was a thunderstorm late afternoon so that put things on pause for a bit. All in all though it was a great day!

Let me get your opinion....I haven't been to Sea World since the 80's but want to take my kids and take advantage of at least one getting in for only $5. We are having a 10 am breakfast at Disney (plan on an hour to eat). I was thinking of heading to SW after that. Do you think we would have enough time there to see all the shows (rides are not an issue since the kids are 5 & 8 and not into the big rides)? The park closes at 10. Thanks!

Can you tell us more? We are going the 2nd week of July with children ages 2 & 9. Do you have any recommendations on a schedule for the day?

It will depend on when you are going and how crowded the park is. Thinking it will take you time to get out of Disney and about 20 minutes to get from Disney to Sea World if traffic is not slower. Taking a bus might be a longer trip. Not sure on schedules for Lynx. So I would think you might get inside the gates around noon. Then you will need to plan your shows and stick to the plan if you can. If it is a busy day stadiums might fill up and be closed to people entering 15-20 minutes before show begins. Times for shows are limited so you need to figure what to do from first show that startsa after you get there. Try to see Clyde, Blue Horizon, Pets Ahoy, and Believe before the night show schedule starts. Sea Lion's tonite is a parody on all the shows in the park and is funnier if you have seen the shows.

Will see a lot but probably not get to spend a lot of time feeding the animals and just watching them etc. That leaves more shows and exhibits to do next time there, so do what you can in your time there and have fun.

I would say you will have lots of time. You can go see the sealions and believe at night if you don't get there during the day. We were just there in June (we did the VIP tour) and the Shamu night show was much better than the day show. And a great way to end the day at Seaworld! The park is great and you will really enjoy it. Def feed the dolphins.. its brilliant!

:thumbsup2 I am glad that you and your family enjoyed SeaWorld so much - it is such a fun and relaxing park - I love Disney and Universal too but SeaWorld is just so different and I think the ADD is an awesome deal - we did in April and were very impressed by the fresh good food available on it. We definitely drank our worth in water too.:rotfl:

We missed feeding the Dolphins but did feed the stingrays - it was fun for the kids to do. We have a trip planned in November and are going to make sure that we feed the dolphins this time.

OP, we were there the same day! We also fed the dolphins first at the 9:15 feeding. It was really hot that day, but we had a great time too!
