We just returned from 9 fabulous days and we were among the many that was sad:sad1: to see our beloved Flame Tree would be closed during our stay. After we paused in front of the boarded up place for a moment of silence, we went to Pizzafari for lunch.
DS6 had the kids pizza and was fine with it.( Of course you could put sauce and cheese on cardboard and he is a happy camper;).) DD8 had the breadsticks and loved them. DH had the Hot Italian Sandwich and loved it.
I had one of the best CS meals of the week there! It was an antipasto salad and it was fabulous!!! I am not sure how new it is as I didn't see it posted on Allearsnet. It was tons of really fresh baby greens, yummy marinated artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, sliced cukes, about 6 slices of thick and delicious salami, olives and a fresh little mozzarella balls and sweet cherry tomatoes. The dressing was light and just enough. It came with 2 pieces of toasted bread. It was amazingly good!
Just wanted to share some happy dining info! :goodvibes

That sounds really yummy! And healthy too!:goodvibes I'll look for it next week.

I always have the Italian deli sandwich at Pizzafari, but that salad sounds great! Pinocchio's at the MK used to have an antipasto salad, but they dumbed-down the menu to your basic chicken caesar.

That sounds really good! I think my kids would even eat that salad. :goodvibes

That sounds great!
We were also lamenting the temporary loss of Flame Tree - but maybe we will turn to Pizzafari instead.
Thanks!

That sounds right up my alley!!! Thanks for posting!!! How were the crowds???

At Pizzafari or the Parks?

Pizzafari: Ate 11:30 and it was a good thing...by the time we were leaving it was PACKED :crowded::crowded: and they were strictly enforcing the "no food, no table" rule.

Parks: Much better than we anticipated. Lines were totally manageable. The longest wait we saw was Soarin @ 90 minutes. Restaurants were another story. They were soooo crowded and completely booked. We tried to switch a few places around or push out a few times and had no luck at that at all.

I love antipasto salad! Thanks! We had plans to head to AKL for lunch but I may just want to stay at AK now..

Thanks for that. Flame tree was suppose to open the day we planned to be there but the date has been moved to later in the week & we'll be gone. I may try Pizzafari.
