Hi, does anybody have any Hollywood & Vine lunch experience to share?? Good or bad?:confused3

We had the cute bfast there when it was new and it was sooooo empty and kind of fun, but we also had dinner there last Dec and it was kind of icky. It seemed a little dirty and the food selection wasn't so great.

We always do Prime Time and Sci Fi and Brown Derby......Love them, but I am curious about H & V for Lunch.

THANKS for any info - good OR bad,

just a shameless bump. Looking for opinions......

Maybe I should change this H & V ADR??

Well, I hate to give a review since it has been about a year and half since we went. Lets just say H&V is not for our family. When asking my DH where he wants to eat at MGM on the next trip he said "no where, but especially not at H&V". We found it to be very icky. Dirty and I hate the decor, but I thought they had recently made it a character meal so I am not sure if they have refurbished the restaurant. Sorry this isn;t a good review! I would switch to Mama Melrose, that is they best we can suggest. Although, we have never tried Sci Fi and I hear they have great burger and good lunch food. Good reubens and sandwiches. Good luck! Mgm is a tough place to get a good meal!

Thank you. I appreciate it. You kind of reinforced my own feelings, lol. That last dinner we had in Dec (it was the ONLY last minute - and I mean last minute ADR we could get) left a bad taste in my mouth. The only good thing about it was that they had a chocolate cupcake for DD7's bday......nowhere else on Disney property did we find a choc/choc cupcake!!:goodvibes

We went last November, and we LOVED the Lunch. It is with the Playhouse Disney characters and it was great. The Restaurant was clean, the service was great (Marge was our server - I still remember her name because she was so good to us), the food was very good and the character interaction was awesome!
I've never been for breakfast or dinner. I wouldn't hesitate to go to breakfast because of the characters, but I don't know about dinner. If I want to eat just a buffet I could stay home and go to a restaurant nearby.

Just my 2 cents :)
