I can't decide whether or not to make a breakfast ADR here or not. We are not interested in the characters, but we were thinking of it for getting into the park early. We really enjoy CP and Tusker for this and do them almost every trip. We really enjoy eating a big breafast, snack for lunch and then a early dinner. Is there any benefit to doing this ADR before park opening and I am assuming that it is just a traditional breakfast buffet and nothing special.

IMHO, if you're not going for the characters, I wouldn't do this breakfast. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's awful, but I don't think it's worth the price point or getting into the park early. Most other breakfasts on property are better. We enjoy it b/c of the characters and the food isn't bad, it's just okay I guess. We've never had bad service. Just not my top 10 "food" places.

I know this was not your question, but I dont think it will get you onto any attractions before the rest of the crowd enters.

Will you have children attending with you? If so, they will have a blast. If not, then I recommend trying somewhere else for breakfast as this place is focused more for the little ones. If you're wanting to get the park early, you could just grab something yummy from Starring Rolls Cafe!

Yes I would have DD8 with me, but she isn to old for those characters. We like breakfast buffets and usually do Tusker and CP. We love to get into AK and MK early, but not sure if we would have the same feeling walking in to HS early like we do AK and MK.

Of course at AK we love to get in to Africa early to avoid the rush to the safari.

We did H&V breakfast this past summer. We made our ADR for right when the restaurant opened, so we were in there before the park opened at 9. When we were done eating, they were just getting ready to begin rope drop, so we were able to get to TSM right along with the rope dropers! It was great since we were at the front of the crowd. We got FP's, then got in stand-by line.
