Gymboree and Justice BF questions

I always do gymboree.com Thursday night at midnight. Sometimes the site is a little slow and once in awhile an item sells out after I put it in my cart but before I check out. Much better than fighting a crowd in a cramped store and standing in a looooooong line!

:) Michele

So what do most think (minus the crowd factor) - would going in to the store on Friday be a better plan or buying online tomorrow?

If you have a store that has everything that is online (stores are different Tiers) and you can get there today then I'd shop in store. Because you can put it all on hold for Friday and just go in and they'll grab your bag and you just ring up.

I'm not going to be at the mall on BF though so I'm just shopping online.

I got the 20% off coupon in the mail earlier this week - we can use that during their 30% off at xx times on Friday right? (i.e. basically stacking)?

One other thing that has kind of thrown me for a loop in terms of gymboree lately. I have their credit card so I get the 5% off - in the past I got this 5% off regardless if I was paying partially with the credit card and gift cards. Recently, when I went to gymboree they stated that I could not get the 5% off unless I was paying for the purchase entirely with the credit card and not using gift cards - is this correct now?

Yes, that happened to me as well the other day.

From what I heard today in the store was that they weren't letting people but stuff on hold?

My store allowed me to put stuff on hold...I have a bag full and they holding it until I pick it up on Friday (12 a.m.) I went in this morning to "shop/hold the items. A few of the stores in the mall are opening early and Gymboree is one of them.

I have my shopping cart ready to go on Gymboree.com. My DD6 picked a couple of things out she liked and my DD4 picked out 2 outfits. DD6 thinks they are baby like, so she was limited in choices.

I think they are adorable and keeps her young a little longer.
We don't have a Justice, but I'll be at Limited Too on Friday to get DD6 two more outfits with the B1G1 free sale. That ought to make her happy.

I'll be shopping tonight at midnight (Gymboree). It's well worth the cost of shipping to get what I want and not deal with the crowds.

Does Gymboree normally take 30% off there already clearanced/sale items?

it's 30% off everything, and if you have a 20% code (mailer, magazine coupon, etc) that comes off that for a total of 44% off :)

gotcha!
thank you. me and math, not friendly tonight.

Wow! I got in the mail today a code for an extra 25% off plus free shipping. I think I'll be up tonight waiting for the online sale.

lucky you!! mine was only 20% off. I shouldn't complain .. and wouldn't have, until I heard about the 25%/free shipping mailers. LOL

Well, Gymboree sent me the email about the sale, but no coupon :sad1:

Can you use the 20% off mailer coupon online and in the store? Or can the tell in the store that I have used it online already?

The 30% off on line has started now. I just submitted my order a few minutes ago. Happy shopping! :thumbsup2
