guys with long hair... please comment

I don't like long hair on any man. I don't mind an earring but long hair is a major turn off. It makes me think the guy is trying to imitate that Fabio character!

Looking at your pics they good good because it looks like you have short hair. You cannot even see the ponytail. So if I had to see the ponytail I wouldn't like it. By your face you look very nice with short hair as that is how it appears. I don't think you would have a fro if you cut your hair! You have nice silky looking hair which is great for short hair.

After looking at your photos, I'm going to say 1994 or shorter as well. It's not that it looks bad long, don't get me wrong, I just think the shorter hair is more attractive for your bone structure.

I agree! I think shorter hair on any man brings out his features. Long hair (at least to me) seems to blur the features and I focus more on the hair than on the face when the hair is long.

I think you'd look much better in short hair. You've got great facial features, but everyone is busy looking at your long hair!

I gotta agree with the folks voting for an updated 1994 look. I see lots of guys with the long ponytail around here. (SF Bay Area) but I think going shorter might be good for you. 'Course I'm an old lady - not sure what the young chicks like!!

Alright - I see I am in the minority here.

1) I think you look best in the close up (is that 2002?). You are a good looking man to begin with!

2) I LOVE MEN WITH LONG HAIR! As a matter of fact, I find it more attractive then short hair. DH is the only man I EVER went out with that had short hair, and I had A LOT of boyfriends (that sounds bad, doesn't it?). I think long hair is so sexy. That is probably why I think all heavy metal groups are drop dead gorgeous!

I think guys with short hair usually look too preppie and boring (SORRY!). Men with longer hair usually like to have more fun, are more caring (in my experience), and I just think they are so hot! I sound like a little school girl here, but even DH knows how my heart skips a beat for men with long hair ;0)

Oh - and if the man has earrings, even better! I love the rebel!

I totally agree. I think you look like a total geek with the 1994 hair and you look like way more fun and sexy with the longer hair. I would definately NOT do the 1994. If you were going to go short, you would need to go really short. That mid length went out for everyone but tom cruise.

I think that men with longer hair look more self confident and sure of themselves. It is like saying, I know who I am and I like it. There is nothing more unappealing than a self conscious man. Especially in your industry.

I personally can't go half-way. My hair is too straight and I'll end up wearing either styling gel or hairspray everyday (the 1994 piccie 'cost' me half a tube of styling gel. Yikes! )

Maybe I should just shorten my hair a tad (my ponytail is about 10" long).

PS: I don't actually care the way I look. None of my student ever actually see my face and most of my clients hardly ever see my face anyway. In the studio, I usually only wear T-shirt, shorts and flip-flops anyway

Buzz cuts, personally don't appeal to me at all.

My son has hair halfway down his back and it is very nice. He usually wears it loose but when he has to work he pulls it back. It looks good on him

Fat Cow, I think the long hair suits you and I vote that you keep it. Maybe trim it if the ends look scraggly.
