guys with long hair... please comment

What do you guys/gals think of guys with long hair.

I have long black straight hair tied to the back and the length is about 2" below my shoulder.

Should I trim it, cut it all off, or try to have an Afro or something?

I love short hair on a man. Super short hair.

Some men do look good in long hair too, but I prefer the short haired look.

Some guys look really good with longer hair, and others don't.

Why not post a photo of yourself and let us decide that way?

I vote for the super short hair too. My DH has a buzz cut and I love it. I do agree that some men can pull off the long hair look, but I do prefer the short. Plus it takes him zero time to get ready in morning (once he gets out of his marathon shower!).

I don't mind long hair. Depends on the person and how it is kept.
My DS has long hair......down to the middle of his back It's fine on him.

depends on the guy and his personality...I like long hair on some men...some men are just too hot for hair length to make a difference and it adds to the mystery, but average men should probably keep it short...

Btw, my best friends husband has long hair (probably a 5-6" ponytail) and a full beard. He looks like Jesus when he wears his hair down...it's cool

I always had a fettish for long hair. But I do like short hair too DH has short and he's handsome! My Dad's is super short and he's handsome too. But then there's like a Brad Pitt with his long hair! Grrr....

I like for my dh to keep his hair super short too but that's because he's bald now and super short hair looks good on him. Back when he still had all his hair (a looooonnnnnngggggg time ago, lol, he was starting to get thin on top before our dd was born and she's 19 now, lol) I liked him to have very neat hair but with a bit more length on it.

I think *most* guys look good with short hair... I prefer very short in back and on sides, and longer on top (but not LONG on top, just a little longer...)

Actually, I rarely see long hair that I like on guys (except for things like Mel Gibson in Braveheart... Russell Crowe in action movies... etc... etc... ).

My DH's hair is actually longer than mine now, and he's proud of it. His falls to about the middle of his back. I think it's way too long on him, he looks the best with his hair about 2-3 inches long (in that late-80's MacGyver style, if you're familiar with that), but his mom was SO strict on how short his hair had to be (she preferred a near buzz-cut, which does *NOT* look good on him) that he rebelled when we got married and hasn't fully cut his hair since. Trimmed, yes, cut, no.

Anyway, point is, some people (like one of his coworkers) can pull it off. Others it doesn't work on.

I think some guys look really good with long hair. Personally, I prefer the clean cut look. I have seen a few guys with long hair that have better looking hair than many women. If it makes you happy and it enhances the way that you look, then keep it.

I get made fun of at times but I like the way I look

Gosh...I can see I will be the dissenting voice here, but I do not think long hair looks good on any guy (with the exception of perhaps Orlando in LOTR!!) but I think even most movie stars, who are, for all other purposes, EXTREMELY nice looking males, look bad with long hair. Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise...etc...

So obviously my choice is to cut it short. I think that always looks better!

Looking at your pictures, I honestly think the 1994 style looked best on you. That style fit you very well.

I don't like long hair on guys. However, I looked at your pictures and think yours looks pretty good because it is away from your face. My brother has long hair and I always want to chase after him with scissors!

I think the 1994 style is the best. I think that is the longest you should go. You could probably go a bit shorter, but too short might not look to good either....stay with 1994.
