i listen to a lot of alt.rock/emo rock. my favorite bands(all-time) are: blink-182 and nirvana. my favorite bands that are still active are:death cab for cutie,the academy is...,and a various assortment of emo bands. also, i'm a fan of indie rock bands, last night a saw this jazz show at a college, where the opening act was like better than the band.

by the way, em- have you heard "everlong(acoustic)" by the foo fighters? IMO, it's much better than everlong. they don't sell it on iTunes, i think it came as a bonus track on a CD or something.

These threads are made....weekly now all of a sudden.
And they never survive.

That's why the girls invade these threads more than the guys invade our thread.

Basically you're new so I'll explain it to you:
Back in the good ole' days of the summer of 07, there was a Girl Thread which was made for...hardcore girlie problems. Then it died and then this summer it returned. But then it started to get to the point where it started to become a random thread and guys were posting on there. And now it's just not the same anymore. That's why it's "okay" for guys to post on the girl thread, and since there aren't a lot of guys on the DIS, these threads just never survive out there in the big world. :/

I know it's kind of late to be quoting this, but I saw it and had too.

I remeber that thread. I stopped posting here around the time that it died. I miss that thread. Does anyone know whatever happened to Jenny? (a.k.a. BabyPiglet) She used to post there a lot. Does she go on the DIS anymore?

Oh, and to all you VMK'ers.. I know I miss it too! It was a part of my life for over two years
