We booked our flights with CO : cost for the 4 of us at £3600... Out of curiosity I've checked prices and low and behold, green LOW and flights now showing at just over £3000 ---- shhh, should have waited. Really gutted.

Flights are really messy at the moment, prices really changing so much on daily basis, we have held off could of booked last week when then seemed to drop and typically gone up now again..

Yeah join the club :headache: It's worse than the forex gamble!!

Mickey, we desperately want to fly CO as we loved their flight, service and route but I cannot justify the cost at the moment and putting off booking, if they go up from what they are, it is going to cost us the cancellation of our trip entirely. I have to make a very hasty decision tonight ....

I can't believe that CO is coming up more for indirect flights than VA etc for direct :scared1:

WAKE HER UP!!

Get a megaphone and yell in her ear: "MAJOR FLIGHT SALE!"

Lol, I am on the verge of booking it but need a little push. Flights are in my basket :rotfl: But part of me is fighting and saying I don't want direct, don't want BA ... and the other part is yelling "For heavens sake! You are saving £450 you idiot!" :lmao:

I have them in a basket for 1 hour now, aaarrggghhhh !!

Please pass this message to your DW:

WAKE UP!!!! PS. sorry about the shouting but it is for her own good - you will never live it down if you leave her out of this one! You wanna hit that "Proceed to payment" together? You could view me as an accomplice :rotfl:

Why not? :scared1: I love direct flights - travelling makes me ill so the sooner we get there, the better! :upsidedow :hippie:

Oh, and TAKE THE FLIGHTS! There's your push! :goodvibes :lmao:

Oh decsions decsions....:confused3

We live in Stafford , do we fly indirect Manchester/New York/Tampa or Direct Gatwick/Tampa.. about the same flight £££ costs, but going from Manchester saves us a 350 mile round trip (3hrs each way) and an overnight hotel stay the night before we fly.. We can make it to Manchester in about 1 hour from our house and flight time means no need for hotel overnight also !!

I also had the overnight dilemma and decided to forgo the hotel this year. I prefer indirect and that is the only drawback to this booking - it's direct flights (I know it sounds odd)

But hey ho. We will get there and we now have an extra 2 nights plus change for it. God bless you all for your support :goodvibes

I've just updated myself : your posts last night were really funny and stressful all at the same time.

Well, the wonderful Maria at CO managed to change our flights. We are having to move everything one day early, but even after losing deposits on VA flights we have saved £350!!! I think technically we got flights for just over £3k for 3Ad and 1Ch.

We now fly out 30th, come back 17th!

Bless Complete Orlando.

I think this calls for a celebration :cool1: WEll done you!!

I'm sorry I stressed you last night. I get a bit OTT sometimes :guilty:

That's ok! :thumbsup2
Did you book?

I did indeed. YOu folk all got me on a bit of a high  It was inevitable! I paid £502 each for our return flights and I know I had little chance of beating that given that we fly from scotland so always at least one stop

Well done lee. Xxxx
Mickey we hv booked with CO for our trip in 11 days and they hv been fab. Everything came 3 weeks before as promised they automatically booked ME and sorted my moms special assistance out. There flights were £300 than VA direct. We also had maria and I also dealt with kerry.:thumbsup2

You lot made me laugh!!! :rotfl:
Glad your booked now where are your new tickers????
