Actually, Universal has exclusive rights to Marvel characters in theme parks from the Mississippi river eastward, so unless Disney negotiates with Universal, it's highly unlikely that Marvel will make its way into WDW. DLR, on the other hand... ::shudder::

I have a feeling Universal will take the Cedar Fair path now which is a very bad path to take. Yay for Disney!

My guess is that there will be no significant changes for the next 3-4 years at the very least to Marvel or Disney. It's much like the Disney/Pixar deal in that Marvel retains creative power (From what I've heard)

Probably a lot more Marvel related toys at the kiosks around the parks. Hollywood Studios, in particular. Disney will probably try to make some of its money back first. Disney XD will probably have a better superhero lineup of tv shows.

I'm hoping for a Scrooge McDuck or some Disney character comic revival series of some sort (anything in the vein of Carl Barks.) Also the Muppets just started making comics last year, it would make sense if they came out under Disney/Marvel now. Though, they probably have some kindof contract.

I just hope it doesn't go the way of Doug (the TV show.) Great on Nickelodeon and bad on ABC.

Sorry I've been reading/talking about this all day. It's a major collision of worlds for me. haha.

No I mean actual theme park attractions, walk arounds etc... merch is completely a completely different story.
