It's quite a few years since I was in St Petes at Christmas. I recall it being decidely chilly in the evenings. As for the daytime weather, well it felt a bit like late spring in England. Not exactly shorts and t-shirts all day, but a few hours by the pool were possible. I would guess high 60s maybe nudging 70 degrees. I think it was a colder year than normal (whatever normal is in Florida).

By way of seasonal decorations - not that much. The christmas lights on some of the houses in the 'burbs' were quite impressive. The malls were very festive, albeit mad busy. However, it didn't feel very Christmas-sy to me.

One memory or two - I rdo emember my mother having some difficulty getting a Christmas Pudding through customs. Also, the concept of 'Boxing Day' being totally alien to our Floridian friends.
And great difficulty buying chestnuts for the stuffing!
