Hi,
First time traveller from Key West to Orlando along the Gulf coast route. Can anyone recommend the best place to stay for 2 nights enroute. Looking at Naples/Sanibel/Captiva etc..

Naples is a really nice place, stayed there twice.

Haven't stayed in any other hotels there so not sure how it compares, but as a stop-over for a couple of nights Naples is ideal.

Another vote here for the Naples Grand (was the Registry). I haven't stayed on Sanibel/Captiva but have seen plenty of smaller hotels/condos.
Loved Naples with it's beautiful beach great place for a base but you can easily travel to Sanibel/Captiva as about an hour from Naples. If you do visit Captiva check out the Bubble Room - great food
