Guilty pleasures, anyone?

I know we have threads like this all the time, but I think the last one was in February, so I thought I'd start one up.

My ultimate guilty pleasure, aside from my copious studying of Disney, is Tim Burton films.

I know they're campy, and I know they've been debated to a pulp, but I adore them. I think they're artistic and wonderfully quirky, even if they cannot be considered "masterpieces". I've been brought up on Burton (watching Mars Attacks, James and the Giant Peach, and The Nightmare Before Christmas a thousand times as a kid), and I really do love all of his movies I've seen (sans Planet of the Apes). I'm currently working on buying all of my favorites on Blu-Ray/DVD (Beetlejuice, Nightmare, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Alice, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney, Big Fish, Corpse Bride). Tim and Johnny are adorable friends, and Helena is the perfect match, too.

what about you, what are your guilty pleasures?

I have so many guilty pleasures. The three most obvious being Michael Jackson's music, Disney, and the Twilight Saga movies/books.

But more recently movies in general. I watch a movie a night (particularly romantic comedies or just romance). I just love filmography and the amazingly powerful stories you can tell.

I also love watching The Nanny reruns. That show will forever be my favorite.

Michael Jackson.
Pokemon.
Justin Bieber.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Right now I'm really into buying as many Jim Shore Disney figures as I can. They just look so amazing! I have about twenty of them I bet. When I buy them I buy at least five though haha. I'm really into making sure I have enough decorations and things like that for whenever I get an apartment or house.

They look like carved wood with hand painted patterns on them (I'm not sure what they're made of but it's not actual wood- they are hand painted though).

Curling up on the couch and watching movies all night (I'm doing this now! currently American Psycho is in the dvd player)

Going out to eat (Its my favorite thing ever)

Going to pet stores and petting the cats

Taking naps

Sleeping late

Playing video games

Going to the movie theatre.

Reading books (currently Pride and Prejudice and Zombies)

Long car drives (When Matt and I started dating, we would just drive around for hours talking. I still love to do that)

Playing with my cats and my hermit crabs.

I've got a lot... but my top four are

-Disney
-Watching Sonny with a Chance
-Tests (Odd, but I just love to take tests *in school*)
-Sleep

Old Country music! Like Brooks & Dunn, Shania Twain etc.
Disney
Twitter
RUGRATS!
Animal prints
Neon colors

Listening to country music.
Watching Flash Forward and Glee.
Taking naps.
Watching Disney Channel Movies.

My Guilty Pleasures are:
Disney (of course)
Reading Disboard PTRs
One Tree Hill (The High School Seasons)
Gilmore Girls
Friends (the seasons after Monica and Chandler get together)
Dawson's Creek
Thirteen Goin on Thirty
Facebook Creeping

Disney, of course. This summer I'm going to be crazy with all that free time, which will probably be spent watching Disney movies and reading books on Imagineering,

Vera Bradley. Oh god, I'm so obsessed with them. I'm practically itching to buy a new purse, even though my newest isn't even a month old.

Polyvore. I spend hours on there. Hours.

Gilmore Girls. I watch it every day, and frequently say "Stop the noodle scoos!"

Classic rock. It's practically all I listen to.

I think I like lots of things that could be considered guilty pleasures, but I don't really ever associate any guilt with them.

I have one of his figures! It's a Goofy one! :)

My guilty pleasure probably is movies and looking up movie facts. Disney, zombie movies, and learning about serial killers is also on my list.

Probably my huge obsession and study with Disney, music, and movies. I'll start talking about technical stuff, and I just seem like an obnoxious blabbering fool to them.

Off topic, I knoiw, but.. he carves the originals in wood, then a mold is made and the figurines on sale are made of resin, I believe. But the originals are definitely hand-carved.

Mine are probably Disney, music, drama (as in theatre drama lol) and whatever random thing I may be in to at the moment, which can change daily. :p
