I'm sorry but Marina is such a sap! Is she really THAT desperate to keep a man! UGH!!!

I agree 100% about Marina. Get some self respect girl!

Hmmmmm...That could be interesting. Even though GL has "been there, done that" with the look alike thing....Richard/Jeffrey.

How much do you love Jeffrey and Reva together? They have great chemistry! I thought I would love to see her back with Josh but not so much anymore! Glad to see Josh lost the collar! Stupid story line!

I know! I've been enjoying Reva and Josh together this week, but I really love her with Jeffrey. Cassie just seems to bring everybody down!

No offense if anyone's name is Bernadette, but I hope Beth changes the baby's name. And I don't like what she was asking Rick to do yesterday.

I don't see how Jon and Lizzie being married would protect Sarah more. Guess it just makes for a better story. ;)

I wonder what's going to happen next with evil little Will. That school he ran away from deals with "troubled" kids, don't you think it would be harder to break out of?

You mean you don't like the nickname Bernie?:crazy2:

I had heard a rumor that Olivia would get Gus's heart and didn't believe it. Looks like it may be true.

In a letter to his fans, Emmy-nominated Ricky Paull Goldin (Gus Aituro) has confirmed a rumor that has been circulating for several weeks: he will be exiting Guiding Light in the not-too-distant future. The news, which was presumably kept under wraps to protect the bottom-ranked soap, is sure to upset the actor's fans.

In an open letter addressed to his fans, Ricky Paull Goldin (Gus Aituro) has announced that he will be exiting Guiding Light when his contract expires. The letter, which was emailed to members of his fan club, says that the exit will come "in a couple of weeks."

"I want you to be one of the first to know that I'm planning on leaving Guiding Light when my contract expires in a couple of weeks," Goldin wrote. "Gus has been a huge part of my life and I will really miss portraying him and bringing this character to life for you."

Goldin joined Guiding Light in April 2001. During his seven years with the CBS soap, Goldin earned two Outstanding Lead Actor nods at the Daytime Emmys. The actor has again been pre-nominated in the category by his castmates, the fourth time he has received the honor.

"My seven years on Guiding Light have been a wonderful experience. Now it's time for a new adventure, a new chapter in my lif," Goldin reflected. "I will especially miss working with Beth Ehlers, since it doesn't get any better than"Gus and Harley."

Goldin anticipates that his exit might upset his fans and suggests that fans contact "the powers that be" at the show to express their feelings.

"It means so much to me that you have shown your continued love and support for me and the character of Gus," Goldin noted. "I am sure that the powers-that-be at Guiding Light would love to hear from you as well. It is always good to let them know how you feel. That, of course, is your right."

Goldin's exit has the potential to put a damper on the excitement being generated over the debut of a new production model for Guiding Light. The changes, which debut February 29th, use new filming techniques and on-location shoots as part of an innovative cost-saving approach to filming the show.

In his personal life, Goldin recently suffered the loss of his father. Behavioral psychologist and hypnotist Paul Goldin died in Ireland in early February at the age of 79.

Before joining Guiding Light, Goldin appeared on two other daytime drama series: The Young and the Restless, where he played Gary Dawson in 1999, and an off-and-on run as Dean Frame on Another World.

You know, Gus never did a ton for me. :confused3 I really don't care for his storyline with Natalia, and I hope this means Natalia and kid will also hit the road.

JMHO.

I LOVED Gus with Harley-they ruined it when they split them up. I HATE Natalia-don't know why?:confused3

I liked Gus with Harley too, but I *hated* their 'are we together, aren't we, are we, aren't we' crap that the writers kept doing. it was almost a relief when they split up. Remember how hard he had to convince her to marry him? That was painful. They were really cute together, when they actually were TOGETHER. I liked how he was with the boys.

Me too. Who am I going to lust after now that Gus :lovestruc :cloud9: is leaving. I'm sad to hear he won't be on GL anymore. :sad1:

I haven't watched today's show yet. I have a feeling from what was posted that I'm not going to be happy.:sad2:

I liked parts of today. Cassie:mad: -not so much. I like Jon's hair-don't know why I kept noticing it. Lizzie has a wonderful scene with Roxie (so sad that she is going to miss her dog so much but not her mother!). And I love any scene with Bill and Lizzie!

I. AM. NOT. HAPPY.

Olivia suspects Gus and Natalia haven't really split.
Beth can't find Rick.
Jonathan rejects Lizzie's attempts to seduce him.

Philip bails Rick out. This has my attention!
A family baseball game gets chaotic.

and

Lizzie tries to "seduce" Jonathan into staying in town. Because of Sarah.

Jonathan tries to set Lizzie up to arrested.

Lizzie "brokers" a deal with Alan (MR was upset when she read this in the script b/c she felt like all the work Lizzie had done to grow up was gone).

Even though she knows what she's doing is wrong, she sets a trap for Jonathan. Jonathan knows he's walking into a trap, but meets up her any way.

Alan has the cops arrest Jonathan for that sheriff's (from the book) murder.

Then Lizzie has a change of heart. She knows she can't take care of Sarah, and gives the baby to Jonathan and tells him to run.

They meet up later at Tammy's grave to say good-bye. It's emotional. Reva doesn't get to have a real good-bye with Jonathan. Just a wave as his car passes by her.
:headache: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

and

-Once Jon is gone LIzzie tells Alan she will move back into the masion if he promises not to go after Jon and Sarah.
-Jeff and Reva get a new roommate -Beth choses Rick over Aan
-Marina is stalked (guess who?)
-Mysterious text message to Beth
-Cy devastates Marina

-Confirmation that RPG has quite GL.

Rumor and Speculation that Beth Ehlers, KZ and Rob Bogue could follow RPG's exit.........(pgp) Hope this is just speculation/rumor and has no fact. Original spoiler stated inside sources........?????:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Sounds like RPG didn't like the Gus and Harley split either! I also interpret it as he doesn't llike Gus with Natalia!

IMHO, the new filming technique is awful. People who looked so-so before, look awful now. Hopefully, this is just a short-term situation.

I'm not enjoying the new filming either. Kind of cool once or twice but I miss the sets. It's kind of hard to watch too.
