Guide to WDW dining book

We are looking for a current resource to find unique and excellent dining options for our spring trip. We typically enjoy several buffets each trip but are now considering skipping them ( were they ever really safe?) in favor of different options for now.
I've been looking at blogs and links but would prefer an actual book- one that has current post-pandemic updates with what's available.
Could anybody recommend a good resource?

As mentioned, the Unofficial Guide (from the Touring Plans team) is probably what you’re looking for.

But if you really want an insane amount of detail focused just on WDW dining, I’d also highly recommend the DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining. It’s not a physical book, but it’s a PDF you can browse on your phone or tablet so it’s always with you. It covers every WDW dining option in detail. There’s also additional books for each park that just cover snacks with a picture and writeup for basically every snack item available at WDW. They also have guides to help you plan and narrow down your choices. Altogether, it’s like 2000 pages of info on Disney food!

I don’t work for either of these publications, I just like to be armed with information so I appreciate the level of detail.

I would make sure to check the publication date of any physical book you might want to buy. New restaurants have opened and clearly the menus change over time at many places. Some Disney restaurants have also switched to those pricey fixed menus. Some online blogs that are current can also be a resource IF the person has the same taste/interests in dining as you. I don't find some particularly helpful if the person mostly chit/chats about others in their party or only tries one entree.

Yes, thanks all for the replies! I am focused on the food right now but I guess could use a general book- as long as it's current. We haven't been since before the pandemic and want to figure out how to best plan and navigate. It seems very different. I'm really trying to cut the food costs this trip.

So weird thing- we are looking for info about mini golf- maybe for our arrival day, and can't find it AT ALL in this book. Very strange!

If you’re talking about the 2023 Unofficial Guide, they mention the courses by name a few times here and there, but I don’t recall a section that goes into any detail.

The two mini-golf areas are Fantasia Gardens (near Swan) and Winter Summerland (near Blizzard Beach).

You can look up general info on theming, cost, and reservations on the WDW site. If you have specific questions, I’m sure someone on this board can answer.
