Has anyone on her bought this? I thought it looked really good. I was going to make a journal for DD but this is multipurpose. They said they would ship to my resort. I am seriously thinking of ordering one but just wondered if anyone can give any feedback/comments on the book.

Thanks for your help.

I ordered one for my DD for our last trip and its a brilliant book. I looked into ordering it to Scotland too and it was a fortune. i emailed the author through his site and he was so helpful and it was waiting in our villa when we arrived. Would thoroughly recommend. Its got a bit at the back for autographs which my DD used and Jasmine and Aladdin were so interested in the book we held the line up a bit!!! Fantastic friendly service and a great book full of information and places for children to write in. My two girls still want to read through it at bedtime!!!
Money well spent.

not 100% sure what you are speaking of - is this a book on visiting? or something you order after the trip?

If you have any questions, you have found the place to research and ask. If you are looking for a planning guide, I think there is tour guide mike (TGM) haven't used but have heard lots of good reviews. There are also a number of other guides online and at the libary.

I bought it last year for my girl/boy twins who were 5 on the trip. We ended up not reading it much before we went, but the kids loved to look at it afterward to remember the trip and plan what they want to do this year. It was a little big to carry in the parks, but I think we will fill out the memory pages in the back this year. My kids are a year older and more interested in reading and writing, so that helps.

This is a guidebook geared towards kids with lots of color pictures, stickers, and comments on rides like "Is it scary?" It isn't meant to replace TGM or the unofficial guide. It is something for the kids. :thumbsup2

Here is a link to their site. They have various "guides" but the one for kids is the one I am looking at. It looks incredible!!!

We've had it for 2 years and 2 trips and it is still a hot read. They poured over it before and after our trip. I brought it along last year for my ds to read etc when he wasn't on a ride. I left it home this year and they went straight for it when we came home.

i really like it b/c it doesn't say "LOUD" "SCARY" for rides. It rates them on a scale of red, yellow and green. I have timid riders so this helped better than seeing the words "DARK, LOUD" in big bold letters.

I would also recommend it. The pages are full color and the back has stickers that they can use to mark the rides they rode on. Lots of space to write about each ride, if they liked/didn't like it, and a bit at the end for autographs and a journal section!

Cannot recommend it enough, my son even took it to show and tell and his friends all went nuts over the pictures and all!

Both of my kids have this book. It has great color pictures, and they both love to look at it even when we don't have a trip planned.

Review from my 11 year old: "This book is very helpful. It tells you if the ride was scary or not, you can also circle if you liked the ride or not. It includes fun activities and a brief description of each ride."

My 6 year old says: "The book has space for autographs. It tells you tips. It also has stickers that you can put on the different pages to tell if you went on the ride. I really like it because it is really helpful because it tells you which park the rides are in and describes each ride and tells what might happen in it. The book has maps. And it has picture riddles that you can try to solve.:wizard::3dglasses:eek:pixiedust::clown:" (He wanted to play with the smilies.)

If you are thinking about it, I would definitely recommend it!

LOVIN' the kids' reviews! So cute!
I forgot I had looked at this before our trip last year, now I'm going to make sure it's a "must-have" for our trip next year!:thumbsup2

So nice to get the child's point of view! Tell your DS that I love his smileys!

Here's another "yes" vote on Guide to the Magic. My mom is going with us (and a bunch of other relatives, too) on our next trip, and she got one for each of my older kids. DD has been pouring over it for Hidden Mickey tips, and DS is excited about rating the rides with stickers. We're planning on bringing them for the drive down, as well as to journal a bit each day when we get back (I'm a teacher, and we try to write as much as possible - or as much as they will ;) over the summer, so these are great!). They're just very eye-catching, visually engaging books. Even my 2 year old likes to look at the pictures!

YES! YES! YES! We were the first to order to last edition. I begged 2 copies of the book for my children before they were released. The owner of the company (name escapes me) was soo nice. He sent the books and a ton of goodies for the kids to celebrate their being the first to read the book!
Not only a great book.. a great company!!

Well I emailed the wonderful Tim Foster (again) and he got back to me to suggest that since we are only going at the beginning of October, I hold off ordering just now as they are hoping to have a new edition out by then. :)

So glad to read that this book is fantastic. I was debating whether or not I should order one for my 6 year old nephew. This thread has convinced me that I need to get one! And maybe the journal as well.

Ha! I'm getting the journal for myself!!! :lmao: By the time I put my order in it wouldn't surprise me if I end up just asking for "one of everything"!!!
