Guide to the Magic for Kids

How many jounal days does the book have? We will be visiting for 9 days and I am wondering if there are enough journal days in the book to fit out trip?

The book for our first trip has 14 journal days. I haven't ordered a book for this trip yet but I would imagine that it would have the same number of days. :thumbsup2

I think we may still buy a seperate autograph book and use the guide for duplicate autographs if we get any. I like the idea of being able to put a picture with each autograph and there wasn't enough space to do that in this book. Don't get me wrong there is plenty of room for autographs (my son has right around 50) but the pages are filled which doesn't leave room for the pictures.

It's a great book. I love the ride pages, journal days and all the other wonderful infomation it has in it. :goodvibes

Has anyone purchased the autograph & sticker book? How was it? I'm trying to decide between that and a regular autograph book in addition to the guide to the magic for kids book. :flower3:

We have 3 children and gave them each one for Christmas.

Our DD turning 10 read hers every day over the winter. It went to school with her for break time etc. It looks like heck now but she loves it!

DD 8 - much the same story, to a little lesser degree.

They spent hours pouring over it all, and can quote tips etc now!

DS 4 didn't go for it as much, but we'll be bringing them all to WDW with us next month !

A GREAT investment , IMHO.

BTW, I ordered 3 and only 1 came. It was less than a week before Christmas and I was disappointed at the timing of the error. WHen I contacted the Guide Guy he was FANTASTIC. He expedited the other 2 at no cost to me and I had them in LOTS of time.:cool1::cool1:
I think this is a great product with great service.

Our 7-8 year old loved this book! She opted to have it at the parks and use it as an autograph book. She also kept a journal to share with her class about what she did each day on their journal pages. The book helped her pass the time when we were waiting, or in a restaurant, and it really was worth every penny! She loved it! BUT she is a book girl, for certain!

Now, next time, I am tempted to buy her another soley for the journal pages, but that seems wasteful. We will likely just take the same book, add any new signatures there, and add our own journal pages :)

She also enjoyed marking which rides were family favorites, what we each voted for thumbs up or down on each page. She liked the Epcot WS stuff. All fun for her! The 5-6 year old, however, could take it or leave it.

Really would depend on the kid, I suppose!

For the PP who wants to use it again for the journal, I saw that there is a separate Journal only book for less money. Might be an option.

I just bought one...for our young daughter (2nd grade next year), I plan to use it as a way of supporting the "educational" aspect of our trip, since we are pulling her out of school for a few days as an Educational Trip. I think she'll enjoy doing it, as well as meet the school's requirements for the excused absence!

I just ordered 2 (kids are 8 and 10).

Thanks for all the information, you guys convinced me the book is a great buy!

Thanks for all of the info. I'm really debating on this one. My problem is, we're bringing three kids (7,7, and 4...one of them is a friend) and $82 is A LOT of money to spend on books. I was thinking of getting them a Birnbaum to share, but they couldn't share this. They'd each want to write their own things.

Thanks for giving me some info to think about it!
