I did a search and couldn't find anything about it. The rules for posting links confuse me, so I'm not going to post one, but it'll come up in a google search. Anyway, it's a guidebook/journal sort of thing for kids. They have sample pages online--it has info about the attractions, where to find hidden mickeys, etc. and also places to write about what they did, get passport stamps at Epcot, etc. I went ahead and ordered one for my 6 year old, but I'm curious if anyone has used one and has feedback. It says it's new on the website, so maybe it's TOO new for anyone to have used it yet...

I found the site you were speaking of and looked at the books. I just wish you could see a sample page or two from the different books they offer. I'm wondering if this would be too babyish for DD or not-or if it is worth the $. You'll have to post when you get yours and let us know how it is. ;)

Hi-
I'm actually the author (and new to the boards, though please know that my intention is not to advertise, I just happened to run across this post and thought I could help!).
The book is geared towards kids 5-12, it's filled with things to fill out, stickers, photos, a journal and lots of other things for kids to do. There are samples of the pages online that you can look at, I also don't know the rules about posting links, but the book is called the Guide to the Magic for Kids, and should be easy to track down on Google (as it seems you've done!). If you want more info feel free to email me privately...I'll be more than happy to answer any questions.

Thanks!
Tim

thanks tim! I just ordered it a couple of days ago--looking forward to getting it...I think my son will really enjoy it!

Hi Tim! I ordered one of everything from your site the other day and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I got my order (arrived yesterday). I also was so happy to see that both my teens and even myself found all the books VERY interesting. You've got a great thing going! My fave is the Lost Journals, while DD likes the Kids GTTM the best. Best of luck to you! ;)

Welcome Tim! Good luck with the books...they look great!

I haven't been to Tim's site yet, but the books are also available on Amazon, and they have several sample pages you can view. And a few people have posted reviews there -- they've been very happy with the books! There are several - the kids guide, a guide, a journal, and more. They all look fun!

I know there are so many Disney books available, and I've read a bunch of them...It's so great to have something new - and a little different! I'll be ordering a few for Christmas gifts --- We've got a Grand Gathering in Jan. Perfect!:thumbsup2

Editing: Oh, I see Tim's site has sample pages, too. Looks like a good site. You can google Guide to the Magic.

Hi I purchased this book for a friends two girls 11 and 7.
They had never been to Disney before.'
They loved it, it broke down rides and let them know what to expect and had the fun pages for epcot and stickers and comment for what they thought of each attraction.
Lots of fun and they are excited to sit down with me and go through it together and tell me all about their trip!!!
Great book, colorfull and informative!
Great job Tim!!:thumbsup2

Hi again everyone, and thanks SO much for the warm welcome! I'm really happy that you're enjoying the books, they were a lot of fun to put together and my hope was to be able to share a little bit of the magic with everyone. By the way, if anyone is going down to Mousefest in December I will be running a number of Guide to the Magic Kids Meets (parents welcome too!) in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. If you're there I would love to have you join me, we'll have lots of fun!
And there will be more Guide to the Magic goodies coming out next year (that's what's nice about putting the books together, lots of research trips!:goodvibes ).
Thanks again for all of your kind words!!
Tim

I'm in my 40's and enjoyed the Lost Journals immensely. I too am a big kid at heart. We got ours back in July and they really are a refreshing change from all the other Disney books that are out there in the market place.

These books look great. I was wondering how many autograph pages there are in the autograph and sticker book? And also how many autograph pages there are in the Kids book. Thanks.
