I'm interested in opinions regarding *small* sized 'pocket' guidebooks that are ~4 inches wide by ~10-12 inches tall.
I have the official Birnbaum book, but I'm looking for something more compact to take with me into the parks. Preferably, one that covers only the parks (not resorts, etc).
Why? I've decided to use a fanny pack this time around instead of a backpack and I need a 'slimmer' book to fit in. Last time to WDW, it was a backpack, an SLR bag and a camcorder bag. Not this trip! Fanny pack with the daily essentials, a digital camera (w/ a 256 MB card!). Ooh, I'm interested in buying a new generation camcorder that seems to be 'de-riguer' these days. Hmmm, how's that trip budget coming along? Otherwise, it's back to lugging around the mini-vhs camcorder (funny, it seemed so light and small when we got it 7 years ago!).
