Been to Disney many times. Doing whole family in November. Never had the Passporter Book, is it still fun/worth it if your are not a newbie? Thank you!

I would not bother. For information the "Unofficial Guide" is best. The Passporter has places to write down plans or make notes about your experiences each day.
