Guide Books for Children?

I remember someone posting on the boards one time buying a guide book or hidden Mickey book that was for children. I would love to buy one for dd to help me plan our next trip. If anyone knows that names of any I would appreciate that information. Thanks!

Birbamum for kids?

Birnbaum has a guide for kids. I think it is called, "Disney for kids" and it is mostly written by kids talking about their fave rides. I do not really think it is worth it but it has nice, glossy photos.
There is also a yellow Hidden Mickey book which is available all over WDW.

I'll third Birnbaums Kids Edition. It has a section for autographs, great photos, checklists and rating of the rides by kids that rate them as scary, silly, fun, etc. It gives great insight into the minds of kids and they get a lot out of it, or so I have been told.

We gave the Birnbaum book for kids to our kids for our 2004 trip- they were turning 5 while in WDW. The book is full of pictures and it was great for them to be able to just look at the pictures and know if they wanted to ride or see a particular show. I purchased the 2006 edition for our upcoming trip and it's virtually the same- I mean page for page.

Depending on the age of your child(ren) it may be just what you are looking for. I think it is geared toward the under 10 crowd for sure.

Gave Hidden Mickey book to DN just before their trip. WHAT A HIT ! She had it read by time they went and the entire family spent every extra minute in parks and hotels, waiting for dinner etc looking for the mickeys !
