Guide book

I was very disappointed to find that the Unofficial Guide will not be published again until next year and the last version was published before Diagon Alley opened I love the details in the Disney version of this book and was looking forward to soaking up all things Universal before our trip this July. Can anyone recommend a good guidebook that gives detailed descriptions of attractions as well as any tips? I know I can get lots of that on this board but i also like to have a book in hand to enjoy!

Not quite out yet, though. But with your trip being in July I think you can use this book once it's published.


Reading further on the page, it says if you order from them, the publisher (and author), it ships immediately. Nice.

The new "Universal Orlando 2015" by Kelly Monghan is out( I just got mine) and it has all the updates in it.I prefer it over the unofficial guide anyway

I already have the 2015 UG for WDW and it has most of the same material for Universal Parks that is published in the Beyond Disney guide. There is enough there to plan out a good attack on the new section. You will not get as much information on the periphery like the Uni Hotels, or Citywalk.

Thank you! I actually ordered this book yesterday and it arrived today! (Yay Amazon Prime! LOL!) Can't wait to check it out!

Oh, that is interesting as I'll likely pick up the new WDW guide. Don't really need it but enjoy thumbing through it...now I can finally make use of the end chapters! LOL Thanks for the info!
