A CM friend of mine told me the ultimate is...

"What time is the 3 o'clock parade?"

Oops, I posted before I let the convo run out. Kathy took mine. lol.

The most frequent question is "Where is the nearest restroom?".

You never hear anybody ask where the furthest restroom is. :3dglasses

i think the one i heard most- especially when i was doing register at hollywood and vine cafeteria was- "that costs how much?". Then they subsequently would put the piece of pie back. :rotfl:

My daughter did ICP this past summer and frequently has us in fits of laughter with her tales of comments from guests.

She primarily worked "Showkeeping" (custodial) in the area in front of and surrounding the Hat at the Studios, so she was a prime target for guest questions, especially requests for directions.

Daughter to guest while standing in front of hat: You'll find that just to the left of the Hat.
Guest: What hat?

Guest (while standing in front of GMR holding map of Magic Kingdom): Which way to the castle?

And her all time favourite....

Guest: What time is it going to stop raining?

Shelley (wishing I was in WDW instead of snowy Ontario)

I over-heard a classic a couple of years ago. The ladies in front of me were talking about the parks when one said "Did you know that you can't get into Universal Studios with a normal Disney ticket" her friend said "I didn't know that!" then the first lady said "Yep, Disney charge you again for another ticket to get in to Universal Studios!" :rotfl::lmao:I resisted the urge to explain the difference ;)

MY DH asked me this question when were there...

He said "when is the parade?"
I answered you mean "the 3 o'clock parade?"
DH says "Yes when is the 3 o'clock parade?"
Holding in my laughter I said "I don't know but please go ask someone when the 3 OCLOCK PARADE is?" He finally caught on....

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:scared: I have never eaten one, but I hear alot of people who buy the Giant Turkey Legs, at the Turkey Leg snack counter in the MK ask "is this Turkey or Ham?" I always thought-if many people ask they must not know what they are eating so STAY AWAY from the mystery meat. :scared:

My DD worked photo sales at a local amusement park this past summer. People would ask her all the time, "How big is the 4 X 6 photo"? Drove her nuts.

:rotfl2: You obviously showed more restraint than me!

I gotta say, even though I know its turkey, they sure taste like a big ole ham!!

I worked hhe CP in the summer of '98. One thing that stood out to me what how people on vacation seemed to leave their common sense at home. I was an attraction hostess at Camp Minnie-Mickey at DAK. This was walking towards me with a wide brimmed hat on, zinc on his nose and sunglasses. He had an infant in his arms in a hat and a diaper only. Her little back was BRIGHT red. He had himself protected but not his litter girl. I think about that to this day. What a ding bat!

The funniest thing was when my parents and I were watching Wishes from the Polynesian and a little kid ran by saying:

Mommy! Mommy! Look there's fireworks coming from the Disney Park!

I assumed the kid thought that the MK was the only disney park and the rest of the WDW compound was not owned by Disney.

I had to stop my laughter because the kid was right behind me.

I gotta say, even though I know its turkey, they sure taste like a big ole ham!!

I watched a special on Food Network a few years back that states they inject salt water into the turkey legs. This might make the normaly less salty turkey taste like the saltier ham.

Things I've overhead on the monorail.............

Mother to child in a very thick New York accent..."Las Portas means dooooooorssss" <over and over again, louder every time the monorail guy said it>

A different mother to a different child during the 100 years of Magic Celebration..."This was all very different 100 years ago when Walt Disney first built it"

One morning while walking into Epcot I overheard a family talking. Man says to the woman "Is this the Golden Kingdom?" Woman replies "No, we went to the Golden Kingdom yesterday, you know the one with the big castle." :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

XD
I find that this is a pet peeve of mine but when people call the rides other names such as FAST TRACK. Mission to Mars.

For some reason i've heard it so much that it just eerks my nerve.

I cannot post the things I've heard other guests yell when a bus is kneeled to put on an ECV/wheelchair. As Kevin would say, "This is the happiest place on earth."

:)

irks me too- but you hear it all so much, i just try and ignore it. the usual calling it 'disneyland'----folks are even confused if they are at disney land or disney world. lol- if i paid that much, I think I would make it my duty to know. :rotfl:

I work in an aquarium in minnesota it has a big tunnel that you walk threw with the fish over them and all around. I walk threw this tunnel every day and it still supprises me what people will say. We get alot of them but my favorite was a family that were talking in front of me the mom said "Do you think the sharks are real?" and the daughter replied "no it is like nemo the are robots." for the record they are real.;)

One of my favorites (pet peeves, that is):
"Are you going to DisneyWorld or to Epcot?"
