My mom, daughter, and myself will be arriving at Beach Club Villas late this coming Tuesday night (our flight lands around 9:45pm). My daughter has a very old ticket from back when there was a non-expiring ticket purchasing option. A rep on the phone told me the tickets are still valid and for 5 days but I need to upgrade her ticket because she is now older than 10 and their ticket media has changed. I would like to do this Tuesday night so we are ready to go and won't need to wait in a line on Wednesday morning when we want to get in the parks. I see that Epcot has Extra Magic Hours Tuesday night until 11pm. Does this mean that the Guest Services at International Gateway will also be open until 11pm? I'm trying to avoid having to make a late trip to Disney Springs. Thanks!
 
I've always seen Guest Services open when the park is.
You might check with the front desk at your resort before heading over to be sure.
 
I would not expect them to be open past 9 pm even with EMH. Also, depending on traffic and such and how you are getting from the airport to BC, you may not make it in time.

If she has used it once but still has additional days on it, you should not have to pay anything just because she is now older than 9. This is only true if it has already been used once.

They may still need to provide a different ticket due to the changes in the tickets, but they will do that at no cost.
 
If your flight lands at 9:45, you won’t make it to the IG before 11 even if it is open. And I’m not sure how late GR is open at DS, either.

I would just take care of it in the morning.

1. OK. You will be getting new MagicBands.
2. Have you tried to put this ticket into your MyDisneyExperience account?
If you can do that, no "new ticket media" will be needed at all, and you may not need to "upgrade" the child ticket.
3. All "phone CM" info can be taken with the proverbial grain-of-salt. (Some is accurate. Some, not so much.)
4. This may all be moot if you can put the ticket into your MDX.

Also, how old will your (former) "child" be during this upcoming trip?
 
I doubt you'd even make it to BC by 11 pm if your flight lands at 9:45 pm. You still have to pick up your luggage and the buses don't run quite as frequently later in the evening as they wait until they are nearly full before going.

I'd do it in the morning. We went to that kiosk on the morning of December 23rd to activate our APs and there was one person in line ahead of me. It probably won't be very busy at all and will not take much time.
